Patients hospitalized in Internal Medicine Units (IMUs) may frequently experience both an increased risk for thrombosis and bleeding. The use of risk assessment models (RAMs) could aid their management. We present a post-hoc analysis of the FADOI-NoTEVole study, an observational, retrospective, multi-center study conducted in 38 Italian IMUs.

Living with dementia at any time brings everyday challenges for the patient and those around him/her. The Covid-19 pandemic is making daily life harder. We aim to describe the problems of people with dementia during the time of such a pandemic and address the issue of their access to intensive care units.

Background: Robot-assisted Arm Therapy (RAT) has been increasingly applied in the last years for promoting functional recovery in patients with disabilities related to neurological health conditions. Evidence of a knowledge-to-action gap for applying robot-assisted technologies in the rehabilitation of patients with neurological health conditions and the difficulty to apply and tailor the knowledge to the local contexts solicited the need for a national consensus conference on these interventions.

Aim: The aim of this paper was to explain the methodology used by the working group dedicated to synthesizing evidence on the effectiveness of RAT in neurological health conditions in the context of the CICERONE Italian Consensus Conference.

Introduction: The rapid development of electromechanical and robotic devices has profoundly influenced neurorehabilitation. Background: Psoriasis arthritis will develop during cutaneous psoriasis in a significant percentage. The aim of this study was to improve assistance to patients and to provide the most individualized care possible.

Methods: Patients: all consecutive subjects with psoriasis accessing the outpatients facilities of five dermatologic centers of excellence in the Tuscany region of Italy between December 2014 and February 2015.
