Introduction: association of breast cancer and pregnancy is not common. The objective of this investigation was to evaluate the pregnancy, young age, stage, treatment, prognosis and mortality of women with breast cancer during pregnancy.

Methods: retrospective analysis from March 1992 to February 2009, 16 patients were included with breast cancer and pregnancy.

Pregnancy at older ages and the increased frequency of caesarean births may increase the incidence of diseases associated with obstetric haemorrhage. Obstetric haemorrhage is the second leading cause of maternal mortality, preceded only by preeclampsia-eclampsia in Mexico and the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social. In recent years several studies have been conducted to improve the detection, diagnosis and treatment of women at risk of obstetric haemorrhage to reduce maternal and perinatal mortality.

Background: The role of insulin resistance (IR) of infertile patients with chronic anovulation in their therapeutic failure to clomiphene citrate (CC) is not quite clear.

Objective: Determine the sensitivity to insulin in patients with chronic anovulation and failure to the treatment with clomiphene citrate.

Material And Methods: A cross-sectional clinical study in infertile patients with clomiphene citrate resistance and in patients with adequate response to clomiphene citrate was carried out.

Background: The prevalence of osteoporosis in post-menopausal women (PMW) is 30 %, and bone densitometry (BD) is the gold standard. This is not recommended as a screening test because of its cost. Instead, the SCORE index (Simple Calculated Osteoporosis Risk Estimation) is proposed.

Objective: To build, validate and apply an instrument to evaluate the clinical aptitude in intraepitelial cervical neoplasia (ICN) in residents.

Methods: The instrument included four clinical real cases, validated by experts and included 106 items using true, false and don't know answers. A pilot test and the 21 Kuder-Richardson formula were used to estimate consistency.
