With the advent of chimeric antigen receptors T-cell therapy, understanding their role in the development of hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis has become increasingly complex. We describe a case of a young patient with Epstein-Barr virus-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, who was treated with axicabtagene ciloleucel. The patient developed progressive cytopenia and, on Day 73 post-infusion, met criteria for hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.

Therefore, we aimed to assess the features and outcomes of BI in patients with AH. This observational descriptive study included patients with AH admitted to a tertiary academic hospital between 2016 and 2021.

Purpose: We aimed to describe the intensity of care and its consequences on informal caregivers of stroke survivors according to the degree of care receivers' functional dependence for activities of daily living; and to identify the factors associated with caregivers' care-related quality of life.
Methods: Cross-sectional analysis of prospective data collected in a cost-utility study alongside the RACECAT trial in Catalonia (Spain). One-hundred and thirty-two care receiver-caregiver pairs were interviewed six months after stroke.

Introduction: Ant-iTNF treatment has been broadly linked with autoantibodies and autoimmune disorders development. After the clinical observation of aPTT (activated partial thromboplastin clotting time) prolongation in our cohort of IBD patients treated with anti-TNF, we sought to determine the presence of antiphospolipid antibodies in our population, along with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) occurrence.
Methods: We included in the study 289 patients treated with anti-TNFα antibodies.

Eltrombopag (ELT) is a thrombopoietin-receptor agonist that stimulates platelet (PLT) production in patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). One potential mechanism of ELT is modulating the inflammatory response by increasing PLTs binding to leucocytes. This study examined the effect of ELT on leucocyte-PLTs complexes in 38 ITP patients.

Background: Patients with aortic stenosis may continue to have an increased risk of heart failure, arrhythmias, and death after successful transcatheter aortic valve implantation. Renin-angiotensin system inhibitors may be beneficial in this setting. We aimed to explore whether ramipril improves the outcomes of patients with aortic stenosis after transcatheter aortic valve implantation.
