Introduction: A growing amount of evidence points at lymph node yield (LNY) and lymph node ratio (LNR) as useful indicators in the prognostic evaluation of patients affected by head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) who require neck dissection. The aim of this study was to assess the importance of LNY and LNR in the prognostic evaluation of head and neck cancer patients.

Background: Exertional dyspnoea in post-COVID syndrome is a debilitating manifestation, requiring appropriate comprehensive management. However, limited-resources healthcare systems might be unable to expand their healthcare-providing capacity and are expected to be overwhelmed by increasing healthcare demand. Furthermore, since post-COVID exertional dyspnoea is regarded to represent an umbrella term, encompassing several clinical conditions, stratification of patients with post-COVID exertional dyspnoea, depending on risk factors and underlying aetiologies might provide useful for healthcare optimization and potentially help relieve healthcare service from overload.

Introduction: Haemorrhoidal disease (HD) affects a considerable portion of the adult population. The aim of this study is to confirm the safety and efficacy of the treatments and to report the long-term outcomes of Sclerotherapy (ST) and Mucopexy and Haemorrhoidal Dearterialization (MHD) performed over the last 4 years in a single tertiary centre. The secondary outcome is to evaluate the usefulness of both techniques and to demonstrate how those can be associated as a bridge to surgery.

Background: Liver involvement is a common manifestation of hereditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT). Although a number of studies have been carried out in adult patients, no study has ever been focused on investigating HHT-related hepatic involvement in paediatric patients. The present study aimed for the first time to systematically estimate the prevalence of HHT-associated liver involvement and to characterize HHT-associated hepatic angiodynamic features in paediatric age.
