Background: Petroclival meningiomas are still a neurosurgical challenge due to their proximity to cranial nerves and cerebral vasculature along the surgical corridor. The usual extension of large petroclival meningiomas is along the posterior fossa, frequently compromising and displacing adjunct cranial nerves such as the sixth and seventh-eight cranial nerve complex with brainstem compression, causing progressive neurological deficit and severe headache. The goal of sizeable petroclival meningioma surgery treatment is a maximal resection with preservation of neurological function.

Ultrasonography is a reliable imaging technique for the accurate diagnosis and evaluation of musculoskeletal disorders. Recent developments in ultrasound technology have significantly increased image resolution, making it possible to see anatomical features at almost microscopic dimensions. Current standards for standardized shoulder ultrasonography mostly depend on outdated machine types and configurations that may not fully utilize these high-resolution imaging capabilities.

Introduction: The changes in histone modifications are linked to the progression of benign and normal tissue to malignancy. Thus, numerous findings suggest that targeting epigenetic factors might be a focus for anti-cancer treatment. In this study, we tested the hypothesis that telomerase activator might be a potential epigenetic regulator in combatting skin cancer cell proliferation.

Objective: There is an ongoing debate regarding the optimal treatment for craniosynostosis as diverse factors influence the election between endoscopic and open surgery. Previous evidence favors endoscopic procedures. However, evidence remains unfulfilled by a limited number of patients and clustered in very few centers worldwide making it difficult to define it as a replicable technique in different populations.
