Resting state electroencephalography (EEG) has proved useful in studying electrophysiological changes in neurodegenerative diseases. In many neuropathologies, microstate analysis of the eyes-closed (EC) scalp EEG is a robust and highly reproducible technique for assessing topological changes with high temporal resolution. However, scalp EEG microstate maps tend to underestimate the non-occipital or non-alpha-band networks, which can also be used to detect neuropathological changes.

There is no international consensus on the definition of the type of oncological resection that corresponds to each of the colectomies existing in the current literature. The objective is to define for each colectomy described in the literature: embryological dissection plane, vascular pedicles in which to perform central ligation, the extent of the colectomy, and the need for resection of the greater momentum. A consensus of experts is carried out through the Delphi methodology through two rounds from the Coloproctology Section of the Spanish Association of Surgeons.

Introduction: Complete revascularization (CR) in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and multivessel disease (MVD), is associated with a reduction in major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). However, there is uncertainty about whether nonculprit-lesion revascularization should be performed, during index hospitalization or delayed, especially regarding health care resources utilization. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the impact of in-hospital nonculprit-lesion revascularization vs.

Introduction: Rotator cuff calcific tendinopathy (RCCT) involves calcific deposits in the rotator cuff. Non-surgical interventions such as extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and ultrasound-guided percutaneous irrigation of calcific tendinopathy (US-PICT) are recommended for its early management. Exercise therapy (ET) has shown to be an effective intervention for people with rotator cuff tendinopathy, but it has not been formally tested in RCCT.
