Purpose: This study aims to refine management strategies for malunion and nonunion of Hoffa fractures, as these rare complications present significant clinical challenges.
Methods: We conducted a case series involving seven patients with Hoffa fracture complications, including four cases of malunion and three cases of nonunion. Each patient underwent individualized surgical treatment, depending on the nature of their complication.

Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) is defined as the occurrence of hives, angioedema, or both, lasting for more than 6 weeks. The treatment is based on the use of antihistamines, omalizumab, and/or cyclosporine following a stepwise algorithm recommended by international guidelines with a high level of evidence. Nevertheless, management can be challenging as some patients do not respond to the suggested drugs or have difficulties accessing them for various reasons.

Objective: This study evaluated the association between serologically confirmed prior dengue infection and the subsequent risk of virologically confirmed dengue, severe dengue, dengue hospitalization, dengue-related death and all-cause mortality.
Methods: A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted following PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. PubMed, CINAHL, MEDLINE, the Cochrane Library and Web of Science were searched for reports of phase III randomized controlled trials of vaccine efficacy that had data about the placebo group and information about prior infections and were published between January 1994 and March 2024.

Long-acting muscarinic antagonists (LAMA) in association with inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) plus long-acting beta-2 agonists (LABA) are recommended by the GINA report as further option in step 4 and first choice in step 5 treatment. Despite consistent evidence of its efficacy and safety, inhaled triple therapy (ITT) is still not largely used in patients with asthma. With the aim to explore belief and behaviours of asthma specialists, an ad hoc survey has been developed by a panel of Interasma Scientific Network (INESnet) experts and subsequently defined by two Delphi rounds among an international group of physicians.

Objective: To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis to compare the results of the Latarjet procedure performed using screws (S) or suture-button for coracoid graft fixation.
Methods: A systematic search in Pubmed, EMBASE, and The Cochrane Library databases was carried out according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis guidelines. Cohort studies comparing outcomes in the Latarjet procedure with screw fixation versus the Latarjet procedure with suture-button fixation were included.
