Purpose: The ETOP 10-16 BOOSTER study was a randomized phase II trial of osimertinib and bevacizumab therapy versus osimertinib therapy in patients with an acquired EGFR T790M mutation. The mechanisms of acquired resistance to osimertinib and bevacizumab have not been described previously.
Experimental Design: Next-generation sequencing (Guardant360) was conducted in serial plasma samples.

Purpose Of Review: The use of immunotherapy in recent years has changed the paradigm of treatment in patients with B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (BCP-ALL), improving outcomes in the relapsed/refractory setting. New strategies are incorporating immunotherapy into front-line regimens to reduce the toxicity of chemotherapy, prolong survival and increase the possibility of treating older patients. The aim of this review was to describe the new strategies, which have incorporated these drugs into front-line regimens for BCP-ALL patients.

This study generated evidence to guide anticoagulation in patients with VTE after vaccination for COVID-19. We provided data on the low recurrence rate after cessation of anticoagulant therapy and the findings for this study offer timely insights into the management of a potentially vaccine-related adverse event.

Introduction: People with the human immunodeficiency virus (PWH) who were diagnosed long ago are more prone to age-related conditions and comorbidities than the general population. We hypothesized that older PWH have endocrine abnormalities that may influence the patient's health status.
Methods: Mean hormonal values across the thyrotropic, somatotropic, corticotropic, and gonadal axis, and percentage of subjects with abnormal values, were compared between PWH aged ≥50 years (n=30) and people without HIV (n=30) (Over50 cohort).

Introduction And Objectives: Impact of gender on long-term outcomes after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) remains uncertain. We aimed to investigate gender-specific differences in TAVI and its impact on outcomes.
Methods: This analysis used data from the prospective Spanish TAVI registry, which included consecutive TAVI patients treated in 46 Spanish centers from 2009 to 2021.

Background: Levodopa-induced dyskinesia (LID) is a common adverse effect of levodopa, one of the main therapeutics used to treat the motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD). Previous evidence suggests a connection between LID and a disruption of the dopaminergic system as well as genes implicated in PD, including GBA1 and LRRK2.
Objectives: Our goal was to investigate the effects of genetic variants on risk and time to LID.
