[Home parenteral nutrition in patients with malignant bowel obstruction. Ethical considerations].

Background: patients with cancer are one of the main group of patients on home parenteral nutrition (HPN). Patients with malignant bowel obstruction (MBO) represent a challenging group when considering HPN. At the Ethics Working Group of SENPE ethical considerations on this subject were reviewed and a guidelines proposal was made.

Predictive model of resection in endoscopic endonasal approach for pituitary adenomas based on anatomical limits.

Introduction: The aim of this project is to study several anatomical-radiological features of pituitary adenomas obtained from preoperative radiological images and to analyze their relationship with the extent of resection achieved through the endoscopic endonasal approach. The second objective was to create a prediction model of the extent of resection.

Material And Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 105 patients.

[Recommendations on the management of urticaria in Primary Care].

Urticaria is a common cause for patient consultations in Primary Care (PC). However, the optimal approach to managing urticaria in PC is controversial and not well-established. For this reason, there is a clear need to clarify the causes of urticaria and to develop treatment protocols to improve urticaria management in the PC setting.

Objective: to present the results of the Spanish home enteral nutrition (HEN) registry of the NADYA-SENPE group for the year 2016 and 2017. Material and methods: from January 1st 2016 to December 31st 2017, the HEN registry was recorded and afterwards a further descriptive and analytical analysis was done. Results: in 2016, 4,578 active patients were recorded and prevalence was 98.

ACROSTART: A retrospective study of the time to achieve hormonal control with lanreotide Autogel treatment in Spanish patients with acromegaly.

Objectives: The ACROSTART study was intended to determine the time to achieve normalization of GH and IGF-I levels in responding patients with acromegaly administered different dosage regimens of lanreotide Autogel (Somatuline Autogel).

Methods: From March 2013 to October 2013, clinical data from 57 patients from 17 Spanish hospitals with active acromegaly treated with lanreotide for ≥4 months who achieved hormonal control (GH levels <2.5ng/ml and/or normalized IGF-I levels in ≥2 measurements) were analyzed.

Objetivo: Comunicar los datos del registro de Nutrición Parenteral Domiciliaria (NPD) del grupo de trabajo NADYA-SENPE del años 2015.Material y métodos: Recopilación de los datos de NPD del registro "on-line" del grupo de Nutrición Artificial Domiciliaria y Ambulatoria (NADYA) desde el 1 de enero de 2015 al 31 de diciembre de 2015.Resultados: Se registraron 236 pacientes, con 243 episodios de NPD procedentes de 40 hospitales.
