Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy has emerged as a transformative treatment for aggressive B-cell lymphomas (ABCL), However, about half of patients relapse, most of them early. This study investigates the detection of CAR copies in circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) as a potential predictive biomarker of early relapse (<6 months) to improve patient management. Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is a type of death that occurs suddenly and without any apparent explanation, affecting infants between 28 days of life and up to a year. Recognition of this entity includes performing an autopsy to determine if there is another explanation for the event and performing both an external and internal examination of the different tissues to search for possible histopathological findings. Despite the relative success of awareness campaigns and the implementation of prevention measures, SIDS still represents one of the leading causes of death among infants worldwide.

This study aimed to compare efficacy and safety of ultra-rapid-acting insulin analogs (URAIs; faster aspart [FAsp], ultra-rapid lispro [URLi], and technosphere insulin [TI]) with rapid-acting insulin analogs (RAI) in individuals with type 1 (T1D) or type 2 diabetes (T2D). Searching for randomized control trial comparing the effects of URAI versus RAI that lasted at least 12 weeks, we initially selected 15 studies for analysis. Purpose Of Review: This review summarizes current literature about the relationships between macro and microcirculation and their practical clinical implications in children with septic shock.

Recent Findings: Current evidence from experimental and clinical observational studies in children and adults with septic shock reveals that the response to treatment and resuscitation is widely variable. Furthermore, there is a loss of hemodynamic coherence, as resuscitation-induced improvement in macrocirculation (systemic hemodynamic parameters) does not necessarily result in a parallel improvement in the microcirculation.
