Bouveret's syndrome is a rare disorder that causes upper gastrointestinal obstruction, typically in elderly patients with a history of chronic cholelithiasis. We present an unusual case of a 58-year-old woman with untreated vesicular lithiasis who developed Bouveret's syndrome. She presented with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal distension.

IntroducciÓn: Mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma is a rare tumor of the gastrointestinal tract with double differentiation into adenomatous and neuroendocrine carcinoma, each component with at least 30%.
Case Report: A 60-year-old female with acute abdominal pain. Surgical treatment was decided, finding a tumor at the level of the cecum and ascending colon, a right hemicolectomy and ileostomy were performed.

Objective: To estimate the direct and indirect economic burden of hypercholesterolemia in patients with high risk of a cardiovascular event, specifically there were defined 5 groups of patients: 1) familial hypercholesterolemia; 2, 3 and 4) patients with hypercholesterolemia and background of diabetes, myocardial infarction or stroke; 5) diabetes, myocardial infarction and hypercholesterolemia (very high-risk patients) from the Mexican public healthcare institutions.
Methods: For the estimation of the direct costs the items included correspond to: outpatient care, pharmacological treatment, inpatient hospital care, and surgical procedures. For indirect economic burden, death certificates, before the end of the productive age due to hypercholesterolemia were calculated (premature mortality).

Purpose: The study aimed to assess the frequency of Langer's arch in patients undergoing axillary dissection for breast cancer.
Methods: From January-2015 to March-2020, in a general hospital in México City, female patients undergoing axillary dissection for breast cancer were studied. The analysis involved: demographic and anthropometric data, type of surgical treatment, histopathologic diagnosis, number of lymph nodes harvested, and frequency of Langer's arch finding.

Methods: Workers of the Mexican Government, who required emergency surgeries were studied by the general surgery service of a General Hospital administered by the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE), through the periods from March-August 2019 (non-exposed) and March-August 2020 (exposed).

Objective: To evaluate the effect on pain perception, functionality and rigidity and changes in flexibility, internal and external rotation, before and 90 days after the application of BoNT-A.

Background: We aimed to explore the frequency of occult cancer in patients with deep-vein thrombosis (DVT) at a general hospital in Mexico City.
Materials And Methods: From March 2012 to February 2015, all patients with primary DVT of lower extremities attended in the emergency department of our hospital were studied. Initially, all patients were evaluated with clinical history, physical examination, basic laboratories, abdominal ultrasound, chest X-ray, and duplex venous ultrasonography.

Unlabelled: The purpose of this study is to find the factors associated with the diagnosis of low back pain considering, for each patient, occupational activities, daily physical activities, age, weight, time course, number of visits to the doctor, and number of days of disability leave given due to that condition; all patients were seen at Tacuba General Hospital (TGH). In that hospital the diagnosis of low back pain is the 7th reason for seeking medical care and of disability leave. That is why it is necessary to apply prevention, education and timely care measures and detect the conditioning factors and the most frequent vulnerable groups, as well as the possible causes.
