The study evaluates the impact of minimally invasive nerve-sparing surgery on lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), pain severity, and urodynamic parameters in patients with endometriosis.
A total of 143 patients were analyzed pre- and post-surgery using various assessments, including symptom severity scales and urodynamic measures.
Results indicated significant improvements in several LUTS symptoms post-surgery, but also noted a concerning increase in the prevalence of slow stream urine and worsening postvoiding residual in some patients.
