Background And Objective: Heart failure (HF) is a syndrome of epidemic proportions and one of the main reasons for hospital admission. Patient registries provide real-world clinical practice information which is complementary to clinical trials. RICA-2 is a registry of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine.

[Syphilis in the health sector of Calatayud (Zaragoza): descriptive study 2013-2017.].

Objective: Syphilis cases have increased in recent years; early detection and treatment are fundamental for the control of the disease. Our objective is to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of patients diagnosed of syphilis in the Health Sector of Calatayud from 2013 to 2017.

Methods: Retrospective observational descriptive study of patients diagnosed with syphilis in the Ernest Lluch Hospital (January 2013 - May 2017).

[Bacteraemia due to L. monocytogenes: Description of cases and review of literature].

Bacteraemia due to L. monocytogenes is a sporadic disease related to advanced age or neoplasms, and mortality associated with this disease is high. This study aims to describe the epidemiological, clinical, and therapeutics characteristics of this specific disease, through a retrospective descriptive analysis of cases with positive blood cultures from Calatayud Hospital, from 2008 to 2018.

[Tuberculosis in hemodialysis patients and evaluation of exposures].

Three cases of tuberculosis in hemodialysis patients are described. All of them had an insidious presentation: a pulmonary form, a pleural form and a lymphadenitis form of the disease. The three cases presented risk factors associated and in two out of the three the detection of the team was achieved during the first three months of hemodialysis therapy (one had to undertake hemodialysis again, after disfunction of renal transplant).
