Spermatic cord sarcomas are rare tumours. Dedifferentiated liposarcoma accounts for only 10% of all spermatic cord sarcomas. These are usually large-sized tumours histologically characterised for being well-differentiated liposarcomas with some high grade sarcoma areas.

The prevalence of diabetes in Spain is about 6% and increases with age and obesity. Diabetes is present in approximately 25% of patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). Pre-diabetic and diabetic patients have a higher incidence of CHD and poorer prognosis, with high short- and long-term mortality.

In summary, in light of the flood of figures, statistics, and epidemiological evidence, the socioeconomic importance of IBS cannot be questioned. The development of new, effective treatments that would control the symptoms is a huge challenge for researchers and the pharmaceutical industry. Drugs able to relieve the symptoms of IBS would provide great relief to a large number of patients, and would save the health system considerable effort and resources.

Parameatal cysts of the penis are highly infrequent, benign cysts of varied sizes usually unilateral. Contribution of two cases of parameatal cysts of the penis, one and epidermoid inclusion, allegedly post hypospadias surgery, while the other one is similar to the middle raphe cysts and appears to derive from the endodermal debris following a defective closure of the urogenital folds. Treatment is by surgical excision; simple aspiration or marsupialization may result in relapse and unsatisfactory cosmetic results.

In spite of being the most frequent tumour in this location, together with adenomatoid tumours, the spermatic cord lipoma is a very rare entity (30-35% each). The etiology is unknown but linked to a constitutional factors, obesity, an its presentation is more frequent in the fifth or sixth decade of life. It progresses always as an asymptomatic tumour, usually unilateral, showing a swift growth to masses larger than 10 cm.
