Background: Xeroderma pigmentosum is a rare inherited disease characterized by extreme hypersensitivity to ultraviolet rays and predisposing to cutaneous malignancies that can appear in childhood. These manifestations are often associated with ocular lesions and sometimes with neurological disorders. The association of xeroderma pigmentosum with internal neoplasms such as acute myeloblastic leukemia is not reported with great frequency, which confirms the rarity of this occurrence.

Introduction: Abnormalities of the fourth branchial arch are less common than those of the second arch and usually present with inflammation of the left thyroid lobe.

Case Presentation: We report the case of a 10 years old girl who presented to our department with recurrent cervical cellulitis, and who was diagnosed, upon endoscopic exploration, with a left sinus pyriform fistula. The patient was treated using mini-invasive surgery by electrocoagulation, with good clinical outcome.

Introduction: Maxillary sinus adenoid cystic carcinoma (MSACC) is a rare malignancy with a propensity for distant metastasis CASE PRESENTATION: We report a case of a 55 years-old male who was admitted to our department with a complaint of right nasal obstruction and anosmia. Clinical examination, radiological investigations and histopathological examination found a mass compatible with advanced adenoid cystic carcinoma of the right maxillary sinus. Thyroglossal duct cysts followed by branchial cleft anomalies are the most common congenital neck masses encountered in practice, second branchial cleft cysts and sinuses are the most common type (LaRiviere and Waldhausen in Surg Clin North Am 92(3):583-597, 2012). Although both abnormalities are common individually, but rarely seen associated in same patient as described in our case. Congenitalcervical anomalies are important to consider in the differential of head and neck masses in children and adults.
