Background & Objective: Timely intervention for Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) could effectively reduce the mortality rate of ACS patients. This study aimed to investigate the clinical significance of miR-30c-5p for ACS and to provide a convenient biomarker for diagnosing of ACS.

Methods: Baseline information was collected from a total of 173 subjects (98 ACS subjects and 65 healthy subjects).

Tongfu Lifei (TLF) decoction has a protective effect on sepsis-related gastrointestinal function injury. However, the relation between gut microbiota, immune barrier, and sepsis under the treatment of TLF have not been well clarified yet.

Baicalein, a component of banxia xiexin decoction, alleviates CPT-11-induced gastrointestinal dysfunction by inhibiting ALOX15-mediated ferroptosis.

Baicalein, one of the active ingredients of banxia xiexin decoction, has good therapeutic efficacy in treating diarrhea and improving gastrointestinal dysfunction. The role and mechanism of Baicalein on irinotecan (CPT-11)-induced gastrointestinal dysfunction are the focus of this study. Concretely, CPT-11 induced delayed diarrhea rat model and intestinal epithelial cell (IEC)-6 cell injury model with Baicalein treatment as needed.

Objective: To observe preventive effect of Caprini based thrombosis risk evaluation model on venous thromboembolism (VTE) after total knee replacement (TKA).

Methods: Totally 257 TKA patients were admitted from May 2017 to December 2021 were selected. They were divided into conventional intervention strategies (121 patients in control group) and intervention strategies based on Caprini thrombosis risk evaluation model (136 patients in observation group), based on whether Caprini thrombosis risk evaluation model was introduced in May 2019.

Objective: To study the effect of carbetocin on intraoperative blood loss and thickness of myometrium during cesarean section with the scarred uterus at term pregnancy.

Methods: Pregnant women with full-term gestational scar uterus who underwent cesarean section from March 1, 2021, to April 30, 2022, were retrospectively collected and divided into a reference group (using oxytocin) or a study group (using carbetocin). The clinical data of the two groups were retrospectively analyzed, and the operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay, uterine contraction effect, changes in the myometrium, and complications were compared between the two groups.

Objective: To investigate the effects of Shoutai pills (a traditional Chinese medicinal preparation) on immune functions and oxidative stress in pregnant rats exposed to di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP).

Methods: Thirty-six mature female SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups (=12). After pregnancy was confirmed, the rats were given 10 mL/kg corn oil +10 mL/kg saline (control group), 500 mg/kg DEHP+10 mL/kg saline (model group), and 500 mg/kg DEHP+10 mL/kg Shoutai pills (treatment group).

Methods: One hundred and fifty-three Chinese patients with chronic HBV infection with HBeAg-positive status were enrolled in the study.Quantitative measurements were made for HBsAg levels by immunoassay (Architect HBsAg QT by Abbott Diagnostic) and HBV DNA by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.

The study aimed to assess the diagnostic value of high-resolution ultrasonography (HR-US) in the detection of anterior disc displacement (ADD) of the temporomandibular joint. Relevant trials reported in MEDLINE, the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, and Embase were identified. A manual search was also performed.
