India's road construction is vital for its infrastructure growth, requiring approximately 20,000 tons of high-quality aggregates per kilometer - materials that are increasingly scarce, leading to higher costs and delays. The industrial sector, a cornerstone of the Indian economy, also struggles with waste management. Earlier studies suggested that industrial waste can be used in road construction materials however, the radiological considerations were not focused.

Topological magnetic skyrmions with helicity state degrees of freedom in centrosymmetric magnets possess great potential for advanced spintronics applications and quantum computing. Till date, the skyrmion study in this class of materials mostly remains focused to collinear ferromagnets with uniaxial magnetic anisotropy. Here, we present a combined theoretical and experimental study on the competing magnetic exchange-induced evolution of noncollinear magnetic ground states and its impact on the skyrmion formation in a series of centrosymmetric hexagonal noncollinear magnets, MnFeCoGe.

Objective: Lu-DOTATATE peptide receptor therapy (PRRT) is an established treatment for patients suffering from neuroendocrine tumors. In the last few years, intra-arterial PRRT is being considered for patients having liver metastatic disease predominantly. The aim of our study is to measure the radiation doses received by the treating intervention radiologists involved in intra-arterial PRRT treatment using Lu-DOTATATE.

Background: The introduction of positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) has significantly advanced medical imaging. In oncology, F-fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG) PET/CT is particularly crucial for staging, evaluating treatment response, monitoring follow-up, and planning radiotherapy. However, in resource limiting hospitals, the availability of fluorine-labeled F-FDG limits optimal scan acquisition.

Necrotizing fasciitis is a deadly yet rare soft tissue and skin infection that is usually diagnosed clinically. At times, clinical signs may betray the underlying etiology and masquerade as cellulitis in the early course of the disease. We report four cases with clinical suspicion of necrotizing fasciitis, some after the failure of therapy for cellulitis who underwent 18-F fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (18-F FDG PET/CT) showing the extent of the disease, showing subclinical sites of involvement in patients with necrotizing fasciitis on baseline scan as well as its role in assessing response to treatment using 18-F FDG PET/CT.

Background: With the increasing number of oncology cases and a parallel surge in chemotherapeutic drugs for treatment, the treating physicians conducts nephrotoxicity evaluation to provide a personalized dosing strategy. Of the various tests available, glomerular filtration rate (GFR) under gamma camera with help of Gates method has gained importance, being a good index of overall kidney functions. In addition to this, there has been an alternate and old method for GFR estimation: plasma sampling.

Background: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) has shown to be a promising agent for prostate cancer imaging under PET-CT. With the automation in radiolabeling with 68Ga, using iTG 68Ge/68Ga generator, it has helped introduce various new diagnostic agents and achieve good manufacturing practices (GMP) simultaneously. However, before any radiopharmaceutical is put into clinical usage, it should always be checked for its radiochemical purity and other quality parameters before injecting in the patient.

Introduction of non-DLVO forces by nonionic surfactants brings about fascinating changes in the phase behavior of silica nanosuspensions. We show here that alterations in the interaction and wetting properties of negatively charged silica nanoparticles (Ludox® LS) in the presence of polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide-polyethylene oxide-based triblock copolymers called Pluronics lead to the formation of stable o/w Pickering emulsions and interparticle attraction-induced thermoresponsive liquid-liquid phase separations. The results make interesting comparisons with those reported for Ludox® TM nanosuspensions comprising larger silica nanoparticles.

The temperature-dependent switching behavior of the saccharin radical is demonstrated, enabling the regiodivergent C-H and C-H functionalization of quinoxalin-2(1)-ones. The saccharin radical was generated through N-Br bond cleavage in -bromosaccharin (NBSA) and was observed to transition between radical and radicophile roles. At -10 °C, it was utilized as a radicophile, resulting in 100% C-amination, while at +35 °C, it acted as a radical, leading to exclusive C-bromination.

Thermogravimetric analyses up to 600°C revealed distinct degradation patterns under inert and oxidative conditions. Significant degradation of paint initiates at around 360°C and concludes at 500°C in a nitrogen atmosphere.

In this study, we measured human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations in both tissue and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) by using beads, emulsions, amplifications and magnetic polymerase chain reaction (BEAMing PCR). Noninvasive mutation detection by assessing circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers many advantages over tumor biopsy. One hundred non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients were enrolled, and both preoperative plasma samples and formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples were collected for the study.

Free radicals have been implicated in the pathogenesis of cancer along with cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, pulmonary and inflammatory disorders. Further, the relationship between oxidative stress and disease is distinctively established. Clinical trials using anti-oxidants for the prevention of disease progression have indicated some beneficial effects.

Determining the dissociation mechanism of perchlorate materials remains a top priority to address sustainability, handling, processing, and synthesis issues of new and existing high-energy density materials vital to many industrial processes. We determined the dissociation mechanism of diglycine perchlorate (DGPCl) using vibrational spectroscopy, which unveiled the formation of ammonium perchlorate (AP) and carbon at high temperatures. Our studies establish that DGPCl shows multiple phase transitions upon heating.

Biofilms constitute 80 % of all nosocomial infections associated with invasive medical devices. Polydimethylsiloxane, a highly elastic, inert, non-reactive, biocompatible silicone polymer is widely used as implant biomaterial due to its non-toxic and low-immunogenic nature. Owing to its hydrophobicity, PDMS suffers from microbial adhesion.

Background And Aims: For the aggressive treatment of postoperative pain, nonpharmacological methods (NPMs) are gaining importance complementary to routine multimodal pain management. The primary aim of the study was to assess the incidence of use of NPMs in our hospital. Secondary objectives were to correlate the pain scores, patient satisfaction, and percentage of time the patient was in severe pain within 72 h postsurgery with the use of NPMs when in pain/not in pain.

Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of 25Gy/5# prophylactic pelvic nodal irradiation for regional control during stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT) for high risk prostate cancer.
Methods: The multinational XXXX consortium database of patients treated with curative-intent prostate SBRT for high risk prostate cancer was queried for prophylactic radiotherapy 25Gy/5# to the pelvic lymph nodes. Details of Phoenix-defined biochemical failure, and location of recurrence (local, regional, or distant) were extracted.
