Background: With the increasing number of oncology cases and a parallel surge in chemotherapeutic drugs for treatment, the treating physicians conducts nephrotoxicity evaluation to provide a personalized dosing strategy. Of the various tests available, glomerular filtration rate (GFR) under gamma camera with help of Gates method has gained importance, being a good index of overall kidney functions. In addition to this, there has been an alternate and old method for GFR estimation: plasma sampling.

Background: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) has shown to be a promising agent for prostate cancer imaging under PET-CT. With the automation in radiolabeling with 68Ga, using iTG 68Ge/68Ga generator, it has helped introduce various new diagnostic agents and achieve good manufacturing practices (GMP) simultaneously. However, before any radiopharmaceutical is put into clinical usage, it should always be checked for its radiochemical purity and other quality parameters before injecting in the patient.

Purpose: To report toxicity from the multicenter phase III randomized trial of Bladder Adjuvant Radiation Therapy (BART) after radical cystectomy and chemotherapy in high-risk muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC).
Methods And Materials: Patients with nonmetastatic urothelial MIBC with ≥1 high-risk feature after radical cystectomy- pT3-4, pN1-3, nodal yield <10, positive margin, or ≥cT3 downstaged with neoadjuvant chemotherapy- were randomized 1:1 to observation (Obs) or adjuvant radiation therapy (RT) at 4 centers, stratified by pN stage (N0, N+) and chemotherapy (neoadjuvant, adjuvant, none). Stoma-sparing image guided intensity modulated RT 50.

Introduction Esophageal cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide, with chemoradiotherapy being a cornerstone of its treatment. Ensuring precise radiation delivery is critical, as it minimizes exposure to surrounding healthy tissues, particularly vital structures like the heart and the left anterior descending artery (LAD). Volumetric arc therapy (VMAT) and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) are two advanced radiotherapy techniques that offer enhanced dose conformity and reduced toxicity.

Introduction: Childhood cancers are a significant global health concern, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where over 80% of childhood cancer patients reside. In India, acute myeloid leukemia (AML) constitutes a significant portion of childhood cancers; however, the data on the cost-effectiveness of childhood AML treatment in India and other LMICs remain limited.
Methods: The study focused on children (<15 years of age) diagnosed with AML at a tertiary care cancer center in North India.
Background: Over the last three years, the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has had a global impact. COVID-19 has led to diagnostic and treatment delays in head and neck squamous cell cancers (HNSCCs). Both cancer and COVID-19 trigger systemic inflammatory responses that can result in cytokine storms, creating a favorable tumor microenvironment that supports tumor growth.

GATA binding protein 3 (GATA3), a transcription factor associated with urothelial tissue, has shown promise as a potential diagnostic marker. This study aimed to investigate the incidence of these malignancies, explore GATA3's involvement in urothelial cancer (UC), and determine its role in distinguishing urogenital malignancies.
