Background: Home INR testing (patient self-testing) is feasible and effective for warfarin patients but little is known about real-world differences in outcomes for patients using PST versus laboratory-based INR monitoring.
Objective: To compare the safety/efficacy of patient self-testing of real-world warfarin therapy versus office/lab-based monitoring of therapy.
Design/setting/participants/exposure: A retrospective claims-based analysis of warfarin patients enrolled in the MarketScan® Commercial Claims and Encounters and Medicare databases between January 1, 2013, and March 30, 2020.

Objective: Aim to reduce healthcare utilization (HU) for infants at risk of neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome (NOWS) by 30% in 1 year and sustain for 2 years.
Study Design: Baseline data from three Level I & II newborn nurseries from January 2016 to June 2018 informed PDSA cycles from August 2018 to December 2021. Shewhart process control charts evaluated length of stay (LOS), pharmacologic treatment (PT) rates, direct cost (DC), process, and balancing measures for special cause variation (SCV).
Background: When evaluating trauma patients, many centers perform computed tomography of the head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis, the so-called "pan-scan." Here, we evaluate the utility of physical exam against pan-scan in geriatric patients who sustained ground-level falls.
Methods: We performed a single-centered retrospective cohort review of consecutive patients from the trauma registry of a large, urban Level 1 trauma center.

Objective: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) involves kidney damage, and the inflammasome-caspase-1 axis has been demonstrated to promote renal pathogenesis. The present study was designed to explore the function of the Absent in Melanoma 2 (Aim2) protein in SLE.
Methods: Female wild-type Aim2 , Aim2 Ifnar1 , Aim2 Rag1 , and Asc mice ages 8-10 weeks received 1 intraperitoneal injection of 500 μl pristane or saline, and survival of mice was monitored twice a week for 6 months.

Objectives: Small studies suggest that a new entity of high-grade (HG) (G3, by Ki-67 or mitotic index) well-differentiated (histologically) gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) exists, but prognosis and characteristics are unknown. We further characterized demographics and prognosis of patients with colorectal G3 NETs.
Materials And Methods: We used the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database to study colorectal NETs diagnosed from 2000 to 2015.
