Introduction: Malocclusion is a prevalent public health concern among adolescents, impacting both dental health and psychosocial well-being.
Aims And Objectives: To assess the prevalence of orthodontic treatment needs among adolescents aged 10-13 years in Bhubaneswar using the dental health component (DHC) and aesthetic component (AC) of the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN) and to analyze gender-based differences.
Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 450 school-going children aged 10-13 years using cluster sampling across Bhubaneswar.
Combined immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) and chemoradiation (CRT) is approved in patients with locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) but optimal sequencing of CRT and ICB is unknown. NRG-GY017 (NCT03738228) was a randomized phase I trial of atezolizumab (anti-PD-L1) neoadjuvant and concurrent with CRT (Arm A) vs. concurrent with CRT (Arm B) in patients with high-risk node-positive LACC.

Context: Child abuse and neglect can be described as all kinds of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, neglect, commercial and/or any other type of exploitation resulting in any potential of causing hurt or an actual form of harm to a child's general health, growth, survival, and dignity. The dentist is in a position to identify physical signs of physical abuse in a child hence, it is important to gauge the knowledge level and perception regarding child abuse and neglect.
Aim: The aim of the present study was to ascertain the knowledge, attitude, and experience regarding child abuse and neglect among dentists in India.

Objective: We sought to describe the association between genomic instability score (GIS) and progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) in patients with newly diagnosed, non-BRCA1/2 ovarian cancer.
Methods: Homologous recombinant deficiency (HRD) status was based on a cutoff of ≥42 GIS; patients <42 were categorized with homologous recombination proficiency (HRP). We collected type and duration of maintenance therapy, among other variables, and built a multivariate model with landmark analysis at 6 months from baseline and applied it for time-dependent variables.

In the present study, we focused on the development and characterization of formulations that function as biological inks. These inks were doped with coumarin derivatives to act as molecular luminescent sensors that allow the monitoring of the kinetics of in situ photopolymerization in 3D (DLP) printing and bioprinting using pneumatic extrusion techniques, making it possible to study the changes in the system in real time. The efficiency of the systems was tested on compositions containing monomers: poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylates and photoinitiators: 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyldi-phenylphosphinate and lithium phenyl-2,4,6-trimethylbenzoylphosphinate.

Purpose: Ulnar Longitudinal Deficiency (ULD) is a sporadic congenital difference affecting the upper-limb. There is a lack of information on this condition in the Indian subcontinent population, hence the importance of documenting ULD in this region and highlighting the novelty. This retrospective case-series aimed to describe the manifestations of ULD and document its unique presentation pattern in the South Asian population.

A 32-year-old male patient presented with a chief complaint of ongoing endodontic treatment and swelling in the hard palate, specifically in the rugae region. On examination, a soft, non-tender, non-fluctuant swelling was observed between teeth #11 and #12, accompanied by radiographic evidence of periapical radiolucency and perforation. Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans confirmed a well-defined radiolucency in the affected region, indicative of a radicular cyst.

Objective: Folate receptor alpha (FRα) is overexpressed on >90% of high-grade epithelial ovarian cancers (EOC). Targeting FRα with antibody-drug conjugates has proven utility in the platinum-resistant setting. It is also a potential therapeutic target for immuno-oncologic agents, such as peptide vaccines that work primarily via adaptive and humoral immunity.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the number of cancer cases and deaths worldwide is predicted to nearly double by 2030, reaching 21.7 million cases and 13 million fatalities. The increase in cancer mortality is due to limitations in the diagnosis and treatment options that are currently available.

The treatment landscape of gynecologic cancers has expanded in recent years to include targeted and immune-based therapies. These therapies often have ocular side effects not seen with conventional chemotherapies, some of which can cause significant visual impairment if not recognized in a timely fashion. Clinicians must know how to appropriately identify, mitigate, and treat these ocular adverse events.

Objective: To evaluate the impact of age on the efficacy and safety of niraparib first-line maintenance therapy in patients with newly diagnosed advanced ovarian cancer with a complete/partial response to first-line platinum-based chemotherapy.
Methods: Post hoc analysis of the phase 3 PRIMA/ENGOT-OV26/GOG-3012 study (NCT02655016). Patients in the intent-to-treat population were categorized according to age at baseline (<65 years vs ≥65 years), and progression-free survival (PFS), safety, and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) were evaluated for each age subgroup (clinical cutoff date, May 17, 2019).

Objective: Romiplostim is used to treat chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia in a variety of tumor types; however, few studies have examined its use in breast and gynecologic cancers. We evaluated platelet response and durability of response to romiplostim in patients with gynecologic or breast cancer complicated by chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia.
Methods: We retrospectively identified 33 patients with gynecologic or breast cancer who received romiplostim between 07/1/2021-07/31/2022 at an academic cancer center.

Background: Sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) have been used for almost a decade and have proven to be effective not only in managing Type 2 diabetes (T2D), but their cardio and renal protective features make them very useful in managing patients with risk of multiple comorbidities. This systematic review was undertaken by the authors because there is no evidence currently available in India that has studied the suitability of SGLT2i as a first-line agent in patients newly diagnosed with T2D in India.
Materials And Methods: First, literature was searched to identify features that are considered important when deciding on a first-line agent for managing T2D.

Programmed death-1 (PD-1) inhibitors are approved for therapy of gynecologic cancers with DNA mismatch repair deficiency (dMMR), although predictors of response remain elusive. We conducted a single-arm phase 2 study of nivolumab in 35 patients with dMMR uterine or ovarian cancers. Co-primary endpoints included objective response rate (ORR) and progression-free survival at 24 weeks (PFS24).

Unlabelled: Few researchers believe that various risk factors may complicate the course of dermatophytosis and/or develop various dermatoses unrelated to fungal infection at the previous lesion site. However, there is a paucity of studies that analyzed the diagnosis of lesions that recurred at the treated site of dermatophytosis.
Materials And Methods: A prospective observational study was conducted on 157 cases of dermatophytosis with positive fungal test results.
