With the recent advanced aging seen in society, the number of elderly patients with aneurismal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is increasing. We focused on current management of SAH in patients who were over 75 years old. From January 1st, 2004 to the end of June, 2007, we had treated 170 SAH patients including 39 who were over 75 years old.
