Introduction: Increasing evidence has supported the use of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) for the detection of prostate cancer. However, its role in selecting patients clinically suitable for active surveillance (AS) is still in development. Background: No general consensus has yet been established for the gold standard treatment of ankle syndesmotic complex injuries. Recent literature has documented the success of ankle tightrope fixation for heterogeneous ankle fracture patterns, resulting in syndesmotic complex injuries. We present a multicentre case series assessing the clinical, radiological and functional outcomes of patients with Weber C ankle fractures treated with the Arthrex TightRope fixation system.

Background: Deciding whether to treat patients with bilateral arthritis with two-stage or bilateral single-stage arthroplasties is a cause of considerable debate in orthopaedic surgery.
Methods: A total of 394 cemented Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasties (UKA) were performed in this unit between 2006 and 2010. A retrospective review identified 38 patients (76 knees) who underwent bilateral Single-Stage Sequential UKA, performed by a single surgeon.
