A secondary data analysis of the 2022 Philippine National Demographic and Health Survey (PNDHS) was conducted to explore the underlying structure of knowledge regarding communicable and noncommunicable diseases using multilevel confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The PNDHS data consist of two levels: level-1 represents within-household data (household questionnaire), and level-2 represents between-household data (primary sampling unit (PSU)). Therefore, a two-level CFA and two-level variance CFA were performed.

Objectives: Outbreaks are associated with increased risk of anxiety disorders, depression, and severe mental conditions. Integrating mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) into outbreak response facilitates the delivery of holistic care to the affected community. As there is an increasing incidence of outbreaks globally, integrating MHPSS into preparedness and response plans is paramount to strengthen the capacity of existing health systems and respond to mental health and psychosocial needs.

Objectives: The aims of the study were to construct a new prognostic prediction model for detecting prostate cancer (PCa) patients using machine-learning (ML) techniques and to compare those models across systematic and target biopsy detection techniques.
Methods: The records of the two main hospitals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, were analyzed for data on diagnosed PCa from 2019 to 2023. Four ML algorithms were utilized for the prediction and classification of PCa.

As the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, a resurgence in MPXV cases is causing serious concern. The early clinical similarity of MPXV to common ailments like the flu and cold, coupled with the resemblances of its progressing rash to other infections, underscores the importance of prompt and accurate diagnosis. Among the infections, smallpox is clinically closest to MPXV, and rashes similar to MPXV stages also appear in syphilis and varicella zoster.

This study assessed the burden of female breast cancer in KSA by analyzing and forecasting its incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs).
Methods: We retrieved data from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) about female breast cancer from 1990 to 2021.

Bedaquiline (BDQ), an innovative anti-tuberculous (TB) agent, has attracted attention for its potential effectiveness against drug-resistant TB. This study investigated the impact of BDQ-containing regimens on treatment success rates among multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) patients in Egypt. We conducted a prospective cohort study that included all adult non-pregnant patients treated in MDR-TB centers in Egypt from April 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, with follow-up extended until December 31, 2022.
