Introduction: Human papilloma virus testing is a new method of screening for precancerous cervical lesions. Here we identified factors associated to the positive Human papilloma virus-testing in the context of cervical precancer screening at the Souro Sanou National Teaching Hospital in Burkina Faso.
Materials And Method: Conducted from June 2021-May 2022, this was a cross-sectional study, including patients aged between 25 and 55 years-old and screened for precancerous lesions and received HPV-testing at the Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine (DGORM) of the SSNTH.

Introduction: Given their remarkable capacity to convert atmospheric nitrogen into plant-accessible ammonia, nitrogen-fixing microbial species hold promise as a sustainable alternative to chemical nitrogen fertilizers, particularly in economically significant crops like wheat. This study aimed to identify strains with optimal attributes for promoting wheat growth sustainably, with a primary emphasis on reducing reliance on chemical nitrogen fertilizers.
Methods: We isolated free nitrogen-fixing strains from diverse rhizospheric soils across Morocco.

Positron emission tomography (PET) is a powerful medical imaging modality used in nuclear medicine to diagnose and monitor various clinical diseases in patients. It is more sensitive and produces a highly quantitative mapping of the three-dimensional biodistribution of positron-emitting radiotracers inside the human body. The underlying technology is constantly evolving, and recent advances in detection instrumentation and PET scanner design have significantly improved the medical diagnosis capabilities of this imaging modality, making it more efficient and opening the way to broader, innovative, and promising clinical applications.

Maintaining the quality and stability of functional meat products during storage is one of the major challenges of these products. The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential of polysaccharides extracted from green alga Bryopsis plumosa as a new natural additive in the formulation of beef sausages. In order to evaluate the impact of the incorporation of polysaccharides in beef sausages formulation, the physico-chemical, microbiological, and antioxidant properties were investigated during 12 days of storage at 4°C.

Computed tomography dose index (CTDI) is an unreliable dose estimate outside of the standard CTDI phantom diameters (16 and 32 cm). Size-specific dose estimate (SSDE) for head computed tomography (CT) examination was studied in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine Report 293 to provide SSDE coefficient factors based on water equivalent diameter as size metrics. However, it is limited to one protocol and for a fully irradiated organ.

Introdution: The environment and the type of co-living of older people are crucial to understanding how the nature of their context influences a healthy lifestyle. However, no studies have investigated to what extent their type of co-living may be associated with the sports and the profile practice according to their age. Objective: This study aimed to assess the association between the types of co-living and the age of the physically active elderly and the sports they practice.

Biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) refers to a microbial mediated process based upon an enzymatic "Nitrogenase" conversion of atmospheric nitrogen (N) into ammonium readily absorbable by roots. N-fixing microorganisms collectively termed as "diazotrophs" are able to fix biologically N in association with plant roots. Specifically, the symbiotic rhizobacteria induce structural and physiological modifications of bacterial cells and plant roots into specialized structures called nodules.

Background: EQ-5D is generic measure of health-related quality of life. Studies using EQ-5D generate ordinal data that are interpreted as categories ordered by severity. New analytic approaches taking into account the ordinal nature of the health dimension severity and leading to a better interpretation of EQ-5D data are needed to better elucidate differences in health-related quality of life.
