Introduction: Postoperative ureteral strictures and vesicoureteral reflux after ureteroneocystostomy for kidney transplant can be managed by endoscopic procedures like balloon dilation and endoscopic injections. Complicated/recurrent cases, however, are usually managed by reconstructive surgery. We hereby highlight our technique of robotic-assisted native pyeloureterostomy with indocyanine green (ICG).

Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a severe degenerative disorder caused by mutations in the dystrophin gene. Dystrophin-deficient muscles are characterised by progressive myofibre necrosis in which inflammation plays a deleterious role. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying inflammation-induced necrosis in muscle cells are unknown.

Macrophagic myofasciitis (MMF) is characterized by specific muscle lesions assessing long-term persistence of aluminum hydroxide within macrophages at the site of previous immunization. Affected patients are middle-aged adults, mainly presenting with diffuse arthromyalgias, chronic fatigue, and cognitive dysfunction. Representative features of MMF-associated cognitive dysfunction (MACD) include (i) dysexecutive syndrome; (i) visual memory; (iii) left ear extinction at dichotic listening test.

Aims: Strain delay index (SDI) allows quantification of the wasted contraction or gain of myocardial contractility expected after cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). The present multicentre prospective study aimed to assess the accuracy of the SDI in predicting responses to CRT in real-life patients with wide and narrow (<130 ms) QRS complexes.

Methods And Results: Implantation of a CRT device was performed in 235 heart failure patients and echocardiography data were analysable in 80% (n= 189) of patients (age 65 ± 12 years, left ventricular ejection fraction = 26 ± 8%, 63 ischaemic, 51 with narrow QRS complexes).
