Background: We investigated the prognostic value of baseline positron emission tomography (PET) parameters for patients with treatment-naïve follicular lymphoma (FL) in the phase III RELEVANCE trial, comparing the immunomodulatory combination of lenalidomide and rituximab (R) versus R-chemotherapy (R-chemo), with both regimens followed by R maintenance therapy.
Patients And Methods: Baseline characteristics of the entire PET-evaluable population (n = 406/1032) were well balanced between treatment arms. The maximal standard uptake value (SUV) and the standardized maximal distance between tow lesions (SD) were extracted, the standardized distance between two lesions the furthest apart, were extracted.

Glioblastoma is one of the most common and aggressive forms of brain tumor, a rare disease for which there is a great need for innovative therapies. ONC201, a new drug substance, has been used in a compassionate treatment program where the choice of dosage form and regimen have yet to be justified. The prior knowledge needed to anticipate ONC201 stability problems has recently been partially addressed, by (i) showing that ONC201 is sensitive to light and oxidation and (ii) identifying the molecular structures of the main degradation products formed.

Importance: Many patients 65 years or older with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) are denied taxane chemotherapy because this treatment is considered unsuitable.
Objective: To determine whether biweekly cabazitaxel (CBZ), 16 mg/m2 (biweekly CBZ16), plus prophylactic granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) at each cycle reduces the risk of grade 3 or higher neutropenia and/or neutropenic complications (eg, febrile neutropenia, neutropenic infection, or sepsis) compared with triweekly CBZ, 25 mg/m2 (triweekly CBZ25), plus G-CSF (standard regimen).
Design, Setting, And Participants: A total of 196 patients 65 years or older with progressive mCRPC were enrolled in this prospective phase 3 randomized clinical trial conducted in France (18 centers) and Germany (7 centers) between May 5, 2017, and January 7, 2021.

Background: Vaccine hesitancy and lack of access remain major issues in disseminating COVID-19 vaccination to liver patients globally. Factors predicting poor response to vaccination and risk of breakthrough infection are important data to target booster vaccine programs. The primary aim of the current study was to measure humoral responses to 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

Background: Few studies have evaluated allergy workup in fixed drug eruption (FDE) in a large population.
Objective: To evaluate the sensitivity of a standardized allergy workup for diagnosing the cause of FDE, with a focus on in situ repeated open application tests (ROATs).
Methods: In a retrospective multicenter study, we analyzed the practice of conducting a complete allergy workup for the etiological diagnosis of FDE.

Background: In older patients, comorbidities competed with cancer for mortality risk. We assessed the prognostic value of comorbidities in older patients with cancer.
Patients And Methods: We analysed all patients >70 years of age with colorectal, breast, prostate, or lung cancer included in the prospective ELCAPA cohort.

We study the role of attention and working memory in choices where options are presented sequentially rather than simultaneously. We build a model where a costly attention effort is chosen, which can vary over time. Evidence is accumulated proportionally to this effort and the utility of the reward.

Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a genetic disorder of the hemoglobin resulting in chronic anemia, hemolysis, and vaso-occlusions. Its treatment mostly relies on hydroxycarbamide, transfusions, and stem cell transplantation. This study aimed at describing the epidemiology and management of SCD in adolescent and adult patients in France.

Background: Our aim was to describe the exposure of French children aged 12-36 months to screens (time, content, age of first exposure) and to analyze different moderating factors: sociodemographic data, parents' screen time, and other factors (childcare arrangements, language spoken at home, book reading).
Population And Methods: We conducted an observational, cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study based on 171 questionnaires from parents of children aged 12-36 months who consulted different hospitals in the Paris region during the summer of 2020.
Results: The median screen time was 1 h per day and was essentially television time.

Myosin heavy chains encoded by MYH7 and MYH2 are abundant in human skeletal muscle and important for muscle contraction. However, it is unclear how mutations in these genes disrupt myosin structure and function leading to skeletal muscle myopathies termed myosinopathies. Here, we used multiple approaches to analyze the effects of common MYH7 and MYH2 mutations in the light meromyosin (LMM) region of myosin.

Introduction: Breast hypertrophy, a common pathological condition, often requires surgical intervention to alleviate musculoskeletal pain and improve patients' quality of life. Various techniques have been developed for breast reduction, each with its own advantages and complications. The primary aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and patient-reported outcomes of the authors technique: the Superomedial-Posterior Pedicle-Based Reduction Mammaplasty.

Objective: To evaluate the effects of a prophylactic transfusion program (TP) on obstetric and perinatal outcomes in pregnant women with sickle cell disease (SCD).
Methods: This retrospective cohort study included all singleton pregnancies among women with SCD in a French university tertiary care center between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2017. The TP group included patients selected according to the French guidelines who received regular red blood cell transfusions during pregnancy until delivery.

A high prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) occurs in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). However, MPN-related glomerulopathy (MPN-RG) may not account for the entirety of CKD risk in this population. The systemic vasculopathy encountered in these patients raises the hypothesis that vascular nephrosclerosis may be a common pattern of injury in patients with MPN and with CKD.

However, challenges arise when performing NSM on patients with large and ptotic breasts because of the higher risk of nipple-areola complex (NAC) necrosis. This study proposes a new technique: the three pedicle-based nipple-sparing skin-reducing mastectomy (TP-NSSRM), combined with direct-to-implant (DTI) breast reconstruction, aimed at reducing complications.

Early onset myopathies are a clinically and histologically heterogeneous monogenic diseases linked to approximately 90 genes. Molecular diagnosis is challenging, especially in patients with a mild phenotype. We describe a 26-year-old man with neonatal hypotonia, motor delay and seizures during infancy, and non-progressive, mild muscular weakness in adulthood.
