This study systematically explores the oncogenic role of the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) LINC00115 in endometrial cancer (EC) and reveals its unique mechanism in promoting proliferation, invasion, and metastasis via the JAK/STAT signaling pathway. LINC00115 is significantly upregulated in EC tissues and closely associated with advanced TNM staging and lymph node metastasis. Functional assays showed that knockdown of LINC00115 suppressed EC cell proliferation, invasion, and metastasis, while overexpression enhanced these malignant behaviors.

Revealing the design and synthesis of precisely tailored crystalline catalysts for achieving efficient photocatalytic conversion of styrene into high-value-added products remains a challenging task. In this work, a highly stable crystalline polyoxovanadate functionalized by the dl-tartaric acid ligand H[VO(HO)(tart)]·HO [, tart = CHO] was successfully synthesized by conventional aqueous solution methods. The photocatalytic performance was evaluated for the photosynthesis of styrene oxide by employing an oxygen source as the oxidant in the visible light (>420 nm) conditions at room temperature with compound as a heterogeneous catalyst.

Based on DMR022 [(AEEA-Gly)-AEEA-amphotericin B methyl ester, AEEA is the abbreviation of 8-amino-3,6-dioxaoctanoic acid] and DMR031 [(AEEA)-amphotericin B methyl ester], DMR040 [(AEEA)-amphotericin B methyl ester] was further designed and synthesised. Firstly, DMR040 was assessed for its antifungal activity and haemolytic toxicity with the broth dilution method and sterile defibrinated sheep blood, respectively. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of DMR040 (2 μg/mL) against Candida albicans ATCC 10231 and ATCC 90028 was reduced by 2 times compared to that of amphotericin B (1 μg/mL).

This study explores the synergistic effects of linoleic acid (LA) oxidation on the aggregation behavior and structural properties of wheat gluten (WG). Using lipoxygenase to induce LA oxidation, it was observed that this process significantly influenced WG's viscoelasticity and structural characteristics. Specifically, LA oxidation enhanced WG's viscoelastic properties while reducing its instantaneous elastic and recovery deformations.

Background: Cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) is one of the most common inherited cerebral small vessel diseases caused by the NOTCH3 gene mutation. This mutation leads to the accumulation of NOTCH3 extracellular domain protein (NOTCH3) into the cerebral arterioles, causing recurrent stroke, white matter lesions, and cognitive impairment. Lactic acid (LA) is an essential glycolytic metabolite and energy source in the body, which is present in high levels in the synovial fluid of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and is a reliable indicator for identifying inflammatory arthritis. LA not only acts as an inflammatory amplifier in RA, recent studies have found that novel posttranslational modification (PTM) lactylation mediated by LA may also play a key role in RA. Single-cell sequencing showed that the RA lactylation score of patients with RA was significantly increased, and core lactylation-promoting genes, including NDUFB3, NGLY1, and other genes, were found to be potential biomarkers of RA.

H NMR, C NMR, ESI-HRMS, IR, element analysis, UV/Vis spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy were performed to comprehensively characterize their chemical structures, spectral properties and stability. Nitrosamine impurities were not detected in 3a-3d, and the systemic toxicological assessment indicated that the toxicity of 3a-3d was lower.

Aim: We developed a rapid evaluation scale for pericardiectomy through a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG), in order to improve the diagnostic accuracy of pericardiectomy of tuberculous constrictive pericarditis.
Method: In this study, 262 patients with tuberculous constrictive pericarditis (102 patients) and non-tuberculous constrictive pericarditis (160 patients) were selected by convenience sampling method as participants in Hangzhou Red Corss Hospital from January 2018 to April 2023. The expert validity analysis was carried out by cross-sectional investigation combined with the results of the previous expert questionnaire to establish 12-lead ECG-based the rapid evaluate scale for pericardiectomy of tuberculous constrictive pericarditis.
