Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact of different courses of OVCF on early clinical and radiological outcomes after PVP.

Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has been demonstrated by many studies on its efficacy in arresting the malignancies of multiple cancer types including TNBCs that lack surface receptor expression and are thus the most difficult to treat among breast cancers.

Methodology: The protocol of the systematic review and meta-analysis was registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Review (PROSPERO) with the PROSPERO ID (CRD42023463177). Relevant studies were searched to January 2024 from the databases of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science, and the types of studies were cohort studies, case-control studies, and cross-sectional studies.

Methods: Papers on intertrochanteric femoral fractures treated with cephalomedullary nailing fixation that published in a three-year period of 2021-2023 in four leading English orthopedic trauma journals were searched in PubMed. The presented radiographic pictures were identified and scrutinized as whether they were in standard anteroposterior and/or lateral projections of the implanted nails.

This study explores the mechanism by which obstructive jaundice (OJ) induces liver damage through pyroptosis. We induced OJ in rats via bile duct ligation and assessed liver damage using serum biochemical markers and histological analysis of liver tissue. Pyroptosis was investigated through immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western blot, and quantitative RT-PCR techniques.

[Comparative study of short-term effectiveness of three surgical methods for ulnar styloid base fracture complicated with triangular fibrocartilage complex injury].

Objective: To compare the short-term effectiveness of arthroscopic suture of triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC), arthroscopic suture of TFCC combined with open reduction and internal fixation, and simple open reduction and internal fixation in the treatment of distal radius fractures combined with ulnar styloid base fractures and TFCC injury.

Methods: A clinical data of 97 patients with distal radius fractures combined with ulnar styloid base fracture and TFCC injury, who were admitted between September 2019 and September 2022 and met the selective criteria, was retrospectively analyzed. After reduction and internal fixation of distal radius fractures, 37 cases underwent arthroscopic suture of TFCC (TFCC group), 31 cases underwent arthroscopic suture of TFCC combined with open reduction and internal fixation of ulnar styloid base fractures (combination group), and 29 cases underwent simple open reduction and internal fixation of ulnar styloid base fractures (internal fixation group).

This study aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy of SHD techniques through femoral head fovea fenestration and impaction bone grafting for the treatment of non-traumatic ONFH.

[Effect and mechanism of Gusong Qianggu Decoction on reducing bone loss in ovariectomized mice by targeting endoplasmic reticulum stress-induced apoptosis of osteocytes].

This study aims to investigate the role and mechanism of Gusong Qianggu Decoction(GSQG) in attenuating bone loss in ovariectomized mice by targeting the endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)-induced apoptosis of osteocytes. After the modeling of osteoporosis in mice with bilateral ovary removal(OVX), 60 mice were randomized by the random number method into six groups: sham,model, low-, medium-, and high-dose GSQG(GSQG-L, GSQG-M, and GSQG-H, respectively), and estradiol(E_2), with 10 mice in each group. The mice in each group were administrated with corresponding drugs by gavage one month after surgery and the administration lasted for 3 months.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the biomechanical characteristics of the tandem spinal external fixation (TSEF) for treating multilevel noncontiguous spinal fracture (MNSF) using finite element analysis and provide a theoretical basis for clinical application.

Methods: We constructed two models of L2 and L4 vertebral fractures that were fixed with the TSEF and the long-segment spinal inner fixation (LSIF). The range of motion (ROM), maximum stresses at L2 and L4 vertebrae, the screws and rods, and the intervertebral discs of the two models were recorded under load control.

[Comparison of effectiveness of three surgical methods in treatment of Pauwels type femoral neck fracture in young and middle-aged patients].

Methods: The clinical data of 103 patients with Pauwels type Ⅲ femoral neck fracture who met the selection criteria between June 2018 and December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.
