A concise synthesis of oligonucleotide 5'-peptide-conjugates via copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition in aqueous solution is described. Synthesis of reagents was accomplished by on-column derivatization of corresponding peptides and oligonucleotides. This method is well suited for the preparation of peptide-oligonucleotide conjugates containing 1,2,3-triazole linkage between the 5'-position of an oligonucleotide and the N-terminus of a peptide.

Ag-Fe3O4 nanocomposites were synthesized by the redox reaction between Ag2O and Fe(OH)2 in the absence of additional reductant at moderate temperature and atmospheric condition. The as-synthesized Ag-Fe3O4 nanocomposites are assembled into an orderly arrayed SERS substrate holding clean and reproducible properties with an applied external magnetic field. 4-mercaptobenzoic acid (4-MBA) is chosen as the probe molecule to test the enhancement factors (EF), uniformity and reproducibility of the SERS substrate.

Active vibration control of aerospace vehicle structures is very a hot spot and in which filter-u least mean square (FULMS) algorithm is one of the key methods. But for practical reasons and technical limitations, vibration reference signal extraction is always a difficult problem for FULMS algorithm. To solve the vibration reference signal extraction problem, an improved FULMS vibration control algorithm is proposed in this paper.

We selected, as the objects of our research, lignite from the Beizao Mine, gas coal from the Caiyuan Mine, coking coal from the Xiqu Mine, and anthracite from the Guhanshan Mine. We used the mercury intrusion method and the low-temperature liquid nitrogen adsorption method to analyze the structure and shape of the coal pores and calculated the fractal dimensions of different aperture segments in the coal. The experimental results show that the fractal dimension of the aperture segment of lignite, gas coal, and coking coal with an aperture of greater than or equal to 10 nm, as well as the fractal dimension of the aperture segment of anthracite with an aperture of greater than or equal to 100 nm, can be calculated using the mercury intrusion method; the fractal dimension of the coal pore, with an aperture range between 2.

Fabricating scaffolds that can simulate the architecture and functionality of native extracellular matrix is a huge challenge in vascular tissue engineering. Various kinds of materials are engineered via nano-technological approaches to meet the current challenges in vascular tissue regeneration. During this study, nanofibers from pure polyurethane and hybrid polyurethane/collagen in two different morphologies (random and aligned) and in three different ratios of polyurethane:collagen (75:25; 50:50; 25:75) are fabricated by electrospinning.

The film can be easily damaged by impurity particles, and the damage characteristics of HfO2 film produced by metal particles and the corresponding thermodynamic process were studied. The strong absorption of laser light by metal particles can make film melt, gasified and ionized, and by this way, the film can be peeled and form tround pits point; The metal particle size is closely related to the processes of laser absorption, thermal diffusivity and thermal expansion closely related effects, etc. Under the same irritation energy, the temperature rise is determined by particle size, which can make different size of film damage pits.

A two-layer guide-mode resonance structure made of shallow gratings deposited on the Kerr active guiding layer is used to realize high-quality Fano resonance and step-like transmission. The step-like transmission is designed to work between the perfect transmission peak and the dip of the asymmetrical Fano spectrum. It is demonstrated that the steep transition in the transmission should be attributed to the strong field localization in cases of both high and low transmission states.
