Purpose: Hemophilia is a hereditary coagulation disorder characterized by acute hemorrhages into the musculoskeletal system, leading eventually to arthropathy and disability. Chronic inflammation of the synovial membrane arises as a result of frequent joint hemorrhage. Proteolytic enzymes in the blood and cartilage cause deterioration after that, and joint space narrows.

Aim: In Turkey, improvements in sanitation and the implementation of a vaccination program resulted in reduced rates of childhood exposure to hepatitis A virus. The incidence of symptoms and the complications of the disease are known to be increased in later ages. Aim: The main purpose of this study is to determine the current status of long-term follow-up (LTFU) for childhood cancer survivors and the challenges of LTFU for pediatric cancer survivors at pediatric oncology institutions in Turkey.
Material And Methods: A questionnaire was e-mailed to the directors of 33 pediatric oncology centers (POCs) registered in the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group (TPOG). Of these 33 active TPOG institutions, 21 participated in the study and returned their completed questionnaires.

Background: Recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS) is one of the most common diseases of the oral mucosa and may be related to vitamin deficiencies or systemic diseases such as celiac disease (CD). The aim of this study was to investigate the frequency of hematinic deficiency and CD in children with RAS.
Methods: The medical records of patients diagnosed with RAS were reviewed for the presence of hematinic deficiencies (hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume, ferritin, vitamin B , folic acid), and CD.

Background: Adolescents with eating disorders (EDs) may present not only with abnormal eating behaviors but also with abnormal drinking behaviors varying widely. These behaviors include water loading to cheat on weight measurements, to feel full and suppress appetite and/or to induce vomiting; as well as restricting fluid intake in addition to food.
Method: We present a 16-year-old female adolescent with anorexia nervosa restrictive type and major depressive disorder who was hospitalized due to acute food refusal and developed generalized seizures due to dilutional hyponatremia in consequence of consuming excessive amount of water.

Introduction: Detecting renal scar is important in pediatric patients with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) for deciding on treatment option. The aim of this study is to detect whether freehand elastosonography technique could be an alternative to dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) scan in determining renal scar formation.
Materials And Methods: Between November 2015 and April 2016, 25 VUR patients, age ranging from 3 to 17 years admitted to our clinic, had urinary ultrasound and elastosonography, and data of approximately 147 renal region were recorded.

Objective: This study aimed to define the status of juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML) patients in Turkey in terms of time of diagnosis, clinical characteristics, mutational studies, clinical course, and treatment strategies.
Materials And Methods: Data including clinical and laboratory characteristics and treatment strategies of JMML patients were collected retrospectively from pediatric hematology-oncology centers in Turkey.
Results: Sixty-five children with JMML diagnosed between 2002 and 2016 in 18 institutions throughout Turkey were enrolled in the study.
