All inorganic carbon-based planar perovskites, particularly CsPbBr, have attracted considerable attention due to their excellent stability against oxygen, moisture, and heat for photovoltaic utilization. However, the power conversion efficiency of carbon-based planar CsPbBr perovskite solar cells is mostly low, primarily because of the inferior film quality with undesirable crystallization and narrow light absorbance ranges. Herein, we develop a novel direct deposition approach combined with Sn doping to achieve highly efficient and stable carbon-based Sn-doped CsPbBr perovskite solar cells.

Single crystalline strontium titanate (SrTiO) submicron cubes have been synthesized based on a molten salt method. The submicron cubes showed superior photocatalytic activity towards both water splitting and carbon dioxide reduction, in which methane (CH) and hydrogen (H) were simultaneously produced. The average production rate of methane up to 8 h is 4.

Three bibenzyls 1-3 and six other compounds 4-9 were firstly isolated from Dendrobium huoshanense stems. They were identified as 3',4-dihydroxy-3,5'-dimethoxybibenzyl(1), batatasin Ⅲ(2), 3,4'-dihydroxy-5-methoxy bibenzyl(3), dihydroconiferyl dihydro-p-coumarate(4), syringaresinol(5), 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-propionic acid ethyl ester(6),(3-ethylphenyl)-1,2-ethanediol(7),(S)-5-hydroxy-3,4-dimethyl-5-pentylfuran-2(5H)-one(8) and loliolide(9). Anti-inflammation assay showed that bibenzyls 1-3 could significantly inhibit the production of nitric oxide(NO) and the expression of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α) and interleukin 1β(IL-1β) mRNA in LPS-induced RAW264.

We present a facile route for the synthesis of water-soluble Cu-Cd-Zn-S/ZnS core/shell quantum dots (QDs) by simple pH regulation. The PL spectra of Cu-Cd-Zn-S/ZnS core/shell quantum dots can cover the whole visible light region in the case of only two ratios of Cu/Cd/Zn. The emission wavelength of Cu-Cd-Zn-S/ZnS QDs can be conveniently tuned from 474 to 515 and 548 to 629 nm by adjusting the pH value when the ratios of Cu/Cd/Zn are fixed at 1 : 5 : 80 and 1 : 5 : 10, respectively.

With the rapid development of commodity circulation, more attention has been paid to the anticounterfeiting technology of commodities, including stability, universality and ease of distinguishing. The authors report the use of gelatin-chitosan-glycerin/QD nanocomposite-functionalized glue for luminescent anti-counterfeiting labels. As the blend and plasticizer, the addition of chitosan and glycerin effectively improved the flexibility and formability of the gelatin-chitosan-glycerin/QD composite films, which show excellent mechanical properties, including high transparency, luminescence and flexibility, and they are easy to prepare on a large scale, providing certain reference values for new anticounterfeiting technology applying a variety of morphologies.

Carbon-based inorganic perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have demonstrated an excellent performance in the field of photovoltaics owing to their simple fabrication techniques, low-cost and superior stability. Despite the lower efficiency of devices with a carbon electrode compared with the conventional structure, the potential applications in large scale have attracted increasing attention. Herein, we employ a mixed carbon electrode inorganic PSC by incorporating one-dimensional structure carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and two-dimensional TiC-MXene nanosheets into a commercial carbon paste.

Research on lithium compounds has attracted much attention nowadays. However, to elucidate the precise structure of lithium compounds is a challenge, especially when considering the small ions that may be transferred between the interstitial voids. Here, the discovery of reduced local symmetry (symmetry breaking) in small domains of LiSrSiO is reported by employing Eu as a spectroscopic probe, for which X-ray, neutron, and electron diffraction have confirmed the average long-range structure with the space group 321.

Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) prepared using conventional functional monomers exhibit poor specific extraction of scopolamine from tropane alkaloids, which hinders their application in separation and purification. In this paper, a novel molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was prepared by precipitation polymerization using scopolamine as the template, monoethyl fumarate (MFMA) as a functional monomer, and ethylene dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as a cross-linker. The advantages of the supercritical fluid technology for the removal of the template were verified by comparing the efficiency of the swelling method and the Soxhlet extraction method.

This study has established a new method for the sensory quality determination of garlic and garlic products on the basis of metabolomics and an artificial neural network. A total of 89 quality indicators were obtained, mainly through the metabolomics analysis using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and high performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). The quality indicator data were standardized and fused at a low level, and then seven representative indicators including the a* (redness) value, and the contents of -methyl-l-cysteine, 3-vinyl-1,2-dithiacyclohex-5-ene, glutamic acid, l-tyrosine, d-fructose and propene were screened by partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA), analysis of variance (ANOVA) and correlation analysis (CA).

In this work, an MoS /g-CN composite photocatalyst was successfully fabricated by a sonochemical approach, where amorphous MoS was synthesized using a hydrothermal method with NaMoO·HO, HSiO(WO) and CHCSNH as precursors, and g-CN nanosheets were produced using a two-step thermal polycondensation method. The hydrogen-evolution performance of the MoS /g-CN composite was tested under visible light. The results show that the H-evolution rate of the MoS /g-CN (7 wt%) photocatalyst reaches a maximum value of 1586 μmol g h, which is about 70 times that of pure g-CN nanosheets.
