Primary intracranial malignant melanoma(PIMM) is often difficult to treat in patients without a history of skin melanoma or extensive melanin deposition. Due to the rarity of the disease, the current accepted treatment is surgical resection, but the prognosis is still poor. We report a case of PIMM in an adolescent girl with epilepsy as the only symptom and atypical imaging findings.

Motor imagery (MI) can be used in the rehabilitation of limb motor function after stroke, but its effectiveness remains to be rigorously established. Furthermore, there is a growing interest in the combined application of NIBS with MI, yet the evidence regarding its impact on the recovery of upper limb function after stroke is inconclusive.

T-cell large granular lymphocyte leukemia (T-LGLL), which is associated with autoimmune diseases, has been described. However, T-LGLL with B-cell dyscrasias presenting as autoimmune hemolytic anemia has been less frequently reported. Here, we report a rare case of combined papillary thyroid cancer (PTC), discuss the possible relationship between autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) and TLGLL, and review the literature.

Association between cellular immune and preeclampsia and preterm birth: A Mendelian randomization study.

Emerging evidences have highlighted immune-inflammatory imbalances as a critical driver of the pathogenesis for preeclampsia (PE) and preterm birth (PB), but the impact of specific immune factors on the diseases is largely unknown. Our aim was to determine whether these immune cells are causally associated with the onset of PE or PB. Drawing on publicly available genetic data, we applied Mendelian randomization analysis to probe the causal link of 731 immune traits (7 panels: TBNK panel, Regulatory T cells panel, Maturation stages of T-cell panel, Dendritic cell panel, B-cell panel, Monocyte panel and Myeloid cell pane) with the risk of PE and PB.

Chinese expert consensus on the management of hypertension in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Background: Segmental chromosome aberrations, defined as presence of aberrations, deletion, or imbalance in the chromosomal arms, have long been considered as a predictor of poor prognosis of patients with neuroblastoma. The objective of this meta-analysis is to quantitively analyze the hazard ratios (HRs) of different whole or segmental chromosome aberrations for overall survival (OS) rate or event-free survival (EFS) rate of patients with neuroblastoma.

Methods: Relevant studies about chromosome, neuroblastoma, predictor, prognosis, and survival published from the inception to April 2023 in the databases of PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science were searched, screened, and reviewed.
