Methods: This retrospective observational study included children with severe EV-A71 infection admitted to Hebei Children's Hospital between January 2016 and January 2018.

Purpose: We aimed to assess the dynamic changing trend of serum matrix metalloproteinase-7 (MMP-7) in biliary atresia (BA) patients from diagnosis to LTx to further elucidate its clinical value in diagnosis and prognoses and its relationship with disease progression.
Methods: In this multicentre prospective study, 440 cholestasis patients (direct bilirubin level of > 17 μmol/L) were enrolled. Serum MMP-7 levels were measured using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay at diagnosis, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 6 weeks, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months and then every 6 months post-KPE.

Objectives: To investigate the effects of environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) on the inflammatory process of periodontitis by evaluating bone loss and the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and Src homology phosphotyrosine phosphatase 2 (SHP-2).
Materials And Methods: Eighty 6-month-old male SD rats were randomized into four groups (10 rats/group/per time point): (a) normal group, (b) ETS group, (c) ligature-induced periodontitis group, and (d) ligature-induced periodontitis + ETS group. After treatment with ligature and/or ETS for 8 and 12 weeks, the levels of alveolar bone resorption and the expressions of COX-2 and SHP-2 in periodontal tissue were analyzed using histology and immunohistochemistry.

Study Objectives: To compare the effectiveness of different taxane-containing regimens and to identify the best strategy for the treatment of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative metastatic breast cancer (MBC).
Design: Network meta-analysis of 20 randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
Patients: A total of 6577 patients with HER2-negative MBC who received treatment (20 different regimens) with taxanes (paclitaxel [4267 patients] or docetaxel [2310 patients]).
