Objective: To investigate non-fire and unintentional deaths caused by carbon monoxide poisoning in the light of official national data, and to calculate the national mortality rate associated with carbon monoxide poisoning in Turkey.
Methods: The retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted in Ankara, Turkey, from January to March 2019, and comprised data of deaths registered with the Turkish Statistical Institute between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2017. Data was analysed using SPSS 21and Microsoft Excel.

Objectives: In this study, we aimed to investigate the laryngeal and parotid histopathological alterations in rats with experimentally induced postnatal hypothyroidism.
Materials And Methods: 200-300 g weighed Wistar albino rats were included in this study. The rats were randomly divided into four groups: group 1 is control and the other groups are experimental groups.

Aim: A large number of medications are prescribed in pediatric clinics and this leads to the development of drug-drug interactions (DDI) that may complicate the course of the disease. The aim of the study was to identify the prevalence of potential drug-drug interactions, to categorize main drug classes involved in severe drug-drug interactions and to highlight clinically relevant DDIs in a pediatric population.
Material And Methods: A total of 1500 prescriptions during the 12-month study period were retrospectively reviewed; 510 prescriptions that comprised two or more drugs were included in study.

Introduction: It was aimed to evaluate the efficacy of two tea tree oil (TTO)-based cleansing gels in chronic blepharitis patients.
Methods: Group-1 (basic gel containing 3%(w/w)-TTO) included 50 eyes of 25 patients and group-2 (advanced gel containing 3%(w/w)-TTO plus essential oils and vitamins) included 48 eyes of 24 patients. Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI), tear breakup time (TBUT), ocular surface staining pattern, Schirmer's test, impression cytology, Demodex presence and TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β levels were evaluated at the first visit and 1 month after treatment.
