Orthorhombic oxide perovskite compounds are very promising materials for the applications of optoelectronics and thermal barrier coating. This work represents a numerical simulation of YBO compounds through the first-principles approach. The electronic and magnetic properties are investigated employing the general gradient approximation (GGA) coupled to the integration of the Hubbard U-term which is the GGA + U.

The available phytochemical characteristics of the medicinal plants and derived herbal material often lack data concerning the content of steroids (including phytosterols) and triterpenoids, that can be responsible for various beneficial properties and therapeutic effects, either directly, or as a result of synergistic action with other bioactive constituents. The aim of the present work was the analysis of the content of these compounds in herbal material (leaves, aerial parts) derived from selected medicinal plants (, , , , , ), widely used in folk medicine in the Mediterranean region. Results obtained by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS)-targeted profiling revealed the diversity in the profiles and contents of steroids and triterpenoids in the analyzed plant material, ranging from 5.

This paper aims to study the diffusion and localization of cold atoms in three-dimensional (3D) optical speckles by using the theory of self-energy for diffusers. In this paper, the Self-consistent Born approximation (SCBA) is used to study the diffusion and localization of cold atoms in an optical disordered speckles, while the spectral function is adopted to study the effect of the matter waves energy and the disorder amplitude on the behaviour of cold atoms. For this purpose, the models of SCBA and spectral function are computed by a numerical algorithm.

Evapotranspiration is an important quantity required in many applications, such as hydrology and agricultural and irrigation planning. Reference evapotranspiration is particularly important, and the prediction of its variations is beneficial for analyzing the needs and management of water resources. In this paper, we explore the predictive ability of hybrid ensemble learning to predict daily reference evapotranspiration (RET) under the semi-arid climate by using meteorological datasets at 12 locations in the Andalusia province in southern Spain.

Binary Bose-Einstein condensates in a disordered time-dependent potential.

J Phys Condens Matter

January 2022

Department of Physics, Faculty of Exact Sciences and Informatics, Hassiba Benbouali University of Chlef, PO Box 78, 02000, Ouled-Fares, Chlef, Algeria.

We study the non-equilibrium evolution of binary Bose-Einstein condensates in the presence of a weak random potential with Gaussian correlation function using the time-dependent perturbation theory. We apply this theory to construct a closed set of equations that highlight the role of the spectacular interplay between the disorder and the interspecies interactions in the time evolution of the density induced by disorder in each component. It is found that this latter increases with time favoring localization of both species.

Global proprieties of a delayed epidemic model with partial susceptible protection.

Department of Mathematics, College of Arts and Science, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Wadi Aldawaser, 11991, Saudi Arabia.

In the case of an epidemic, the government (or population itself) can use protection for reducing the epidemic. This research investigates the global dynamics of a delayed epidemic model with partial susceptible protection. A threshold dynamics is obtained in terms of the basic reproduction number, where for R<1 the infection will extinct from the population.

This paper aims to investigate the global dynamics of an alcoholism epidemic model with distributed delays. The main feature of this model is that it includes the effect of the social pressure as a factor of drinking. As a result, our global stability is obtained without a "basic reproduction number" nor threshold condition.

Many-body and temperature effects in two-dimensional quantum droplets in Bose-Bose mixtures.

We study the equilibrium properties of self-bound droplets in two-dimensional Bose mixtures employing the time-dependent Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov theory. This theory allows one to understand both the many-body and temperature effects beyond the Lee-Huang-Yang description. We calculate higher-order corrections to the excitations, the sound velocity, and the energy of the droplet.

To describe the main propagation of the COVID-19 and has to find the control for the rapid spread of this viral disease in real life, in current manuscript a discrete form of the SEIR model is discussed. The main aim of this is to describe the viral disease in simplest way and the basic properties that are related with the nature of curves for susceptible and infected individuals are discussed here. The elementary numerical examples are given by using the real data of India and Algeria.

In this research, we explore the global conduct of age-structured SEIR system with nonlinear incidence functional (NIF), where a threshold behavior is obtained. More precisely, we will analyze the investigated model differently, where we will rewrite it as a difference equations with infinite delay by the help of the characteristic method. Using standard conditions on the nonlinear incidence functional that can fit with a vast class of a well-known incidence functionals, we investigated the global asymptotic stability (GAS) of the disease-free equilibrium (DFE) using a Lyapunov functional (LF) for .
