Endoscopic surgery is now increasingly taking the place of open surgery in urology. Traditionally, endourological procedures are classified as clean-contaminated because the genitourinary tract is colonized by micro-flora, even in the case of sterile urine. The aim of this study was to determine whether a difference occurs in the infection rate after short endourological procedures using standard scrubbing and partial scrubbing techniques before the operations.

The current study aims to identify the level and proportions of smartphone addiction, and academic procrastination among university students in the light of the Corona pandemic; identify the differences in smartphone addiction, academic procrastination, and quality of life according to gender and stage of study; and revealing the predictive ability of academic procrastination and quality of life for smartphone addiction. : 556 male and female students from Saudi universities participated in the study, whose ages ranged from 18 to 52 years. Measures of academic procrastination and quality of life were used, in addition to the Italian scale of smartphone addiction, which was translated and checked for validity and reliability.

Acute cholecystitis is the inflammation of the gallbladder, classically caused by gall stones obstructing the cystic duct. In contrast, acalculous cholecystitis is a gallbladder inflammation occurring in the absence of cholelithiasis with a reported prevalence of 10% of all cases of acute cholecystitis. Reactive acalculous cholecystitis is an extremely rare subset of this disease that results from an adjacent inflammatory or infectious intra-abdominal process that may lead to gallbladder stasis, ischemia, and subsequent wall inflammation.
