Use of glucocorticoid in various diseases including rheumatology and respiratory diseases is on the rise because of its prompt beneficial effects. This culminates in osteoporosis and fragility fractures. Judicious use of glucocorticoid hence calls for attention with regard to the dose schedule, route of administration and accompanying enhancing factors.
