β-BiO demonstrates excellent photocatalytic activity under visible light, but it has a very high photogenerated e-h recombination rate and quite low quantum efficiency. AgBr also shows excellent catalytic activity but Ag is easily reduced to Ag under light radiation, which limits its application in the photocatalysis field, and there are few reports about the application of AgBr in photocatalysis. In this study, the spherical flower-like porous β-BiO matrix was first obtained, and then the spherical-like AgBr was embedded between the petals of the flower-like structure to avoid direct light radiation.

Since cells are the basic structural and functional units of organisms, the detection or quantitation of cells is one of the most common basic problems in life science research. The established cell detection techniques mainly include fluorescent dye labeling, colorimetric assay, and lateral flow assay, all of which employ antibodies as cell recognition elements. However, the widespread application of the established methods generally dependent on antibodies is limited, because the preparation of antibodies is complicated and time-consuming, and unrecoverable denaturation is prone to occur with antibodies.

Viruses are widely distributed in marine environments, where they influence the transformation of matter and energy by modulating host metabolism. Driven by eutrophication, green tides are a rising concern in Chinese coastal areas, and are a serious ecological disaster that negatively affects coastal ecosystems and disrupts biogeochemical cycles. Although the composition of bacterial communities in green algae has been investigated, the diversity and roles of viruses in green algal blooms are largely unexplored.

It is urgent to develop techniques that can simultaneously detect multiple microalgae, due to the diversity of harmful algal blooms (HABs)-forming algal species. The target algae species in this study are Heterosigma akashiwo, Prorocentrum donghaiense and Karenia mikimotoi. These algae are the dominant species that cause HABs in the East China Sea, and the multiple detection technique focusing on these three algae is not common.

Criegee intermediates (CIs) play a significant role in cell membrane peroxidation, but their identification remains elusive at the molecular level. Herein, we combined interfacial extraction and sonic spray ionization mass spectrometry to study the oxidation reaction of 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl--glycero-3-phospho-(1'-rac-glycerol) (POPG) mediated by ozone (O) at/near the surface of a hung water droplet. On-line interfacial extraction and ionization provided a snapshot of the short-lived CIs.

Here, to give early waring for harmful algal blooms caused by Prorocentrum minimum, we reported a simple and rapid colorimetric assay that is named aptamer-gold nanoparticles (GNPs) based colorimetric assay (AGBCA). The GNPs maintain a dispersed state and have a strong characteristic absorption peak at 520 nm. With the addition of NaCl, the stability of the solution will be destroyed and the dispersed GNPs will aggregate.

This paper investigates the fixed-time distributed estimation problem for a class of second-order nonlinear systems with uncertain input, unknown nonlinearity and matched perturbation. A fixed-time distributed extended state observer (FxTDESO) consisting of a group of local observer nodes under directed communication topology is proposed, and each node can reconstruct both the full state and unknown dynamics of the system. To achieve fixed-time stability, a Lyapunov function is elaborated, and based on this, sufficient conditions for the existence of the FxTDESO are established.

Aiming at the existing Direction of Arrival (DOA) methods based on neural network, a large number of samples are required to achieve signal-scene adaptation and accurate angle estimation. In the coherent signal environment, the problems of a larger amount of training sample data are required. In this paper, the DOA of coherent signal is converted into the DOA parameter estimation of the angle interval of incident signal.

Zn powder (Zn-P)-based anodes are always regarded as ideal anode candidates for zinc ion batteries owing to their low cost and ease of processing. However, the intrinsic negative properties of Zn-P-based anodes such as easy corrosion and uncontrolled dendrite growth have limited their further applications. Herein, a novel 3D cold-trap environment printing (3DCEP) technology is proposed to achieve the MXene and Zn-P (3DCEP-MXene/Zn-P) anode with highly ordered arrangement.

In this paper, the synchronization problem of stochastic complex networks with time delays and hybrid switching diffusions (SCNTH) is concerned based on event-triggered control. Therein, a new class of event-triggered function is proposed for the control design. Particularly, different from the existing work, the triggered instant generated by event-triggered control in this paper is a stochastic sequence instead of a number sequence to be more realistic for stochastic systems, which is a breakthrough.

In this paper, an alternate event-triggered control is proposed to achieve stability of interval type-2 Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems. Comparing with the existing literature, this new control strategy displays an almost complete aperiodic feature which eliminates the conservativeness caused by time-triggered property of the traditional aperiodically intermittent control. Moreover, with two events being triggered alternately in this control strategy through examining two predetermined conditions, the efficiency of control can be further improved and the resources consumption can be greatly reduced.

In this article, a fractional-order prey-predator system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response incorporating two significant factors, namely, dread of predators and prey shelter are proposed and studied. Because the life cycle of prey species is memory, the fractional calculus equation is considered to study the dynamic behavior of the proposed system. The sufficient conditions to ensure the existence and uniqueness of the system solution are found, and the legitimacy and well posedness in the biological sense of the system solution, such as nonnegativity and boundedness, are proved.
