Interventions to Improve Adherence to Medication on Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis Patients: A Scoping Review.

Introduction: Inappropriate treatment and non-adherence use of anti-tuberculosis (TB) drugs trigger the spread of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) strains and causes an emerging public health threat worldwide. Therefore, non-adherence to MDR-TB treatment leading to prolonged medication period, increase incidence of adverse event and financial burden, thus it requires interventions to achieve a therapeutic outcome.

Objective: This scoping review aims to provide an overview of interventions to improve the adherence level to medication of MDR-TB patients.

Gender role conflicts experienced by Indonesian women with gynecological cancer: A phenomenological study.

Background: Gynecological cancer and its treatments can lead to sexual problems, potentially disrupting the gender role performance of women. Sexuality and gender roles are context-specific, yet these issues remain unexplored in the Indonesian context.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the gender role conflicts experienced by Indonesian women having gynecological cancer.

Despite the numerous concepts of caregiving discussed in the literature, there is still no agreed definition and concept of family caregiving from the perspective of Islam. This study aims to comprehensively define family caregiving from Islamic religious and Muslim cultural perspectives. Rodger's evolutionary model was used to generate content by analyzing and redefining concepts.

"Embracing The Faith": The Contribution of Islamic Beliefs on the Provision of Care for People with Parkinson's Disease in New Zealand and Indonesia.

This study examines the impact of Islamic beliefs on the caregiving practices of individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in Indonesia and New Zealand. The study sample comprised seventeen caregivers who participated in semi-structured interviews which were analysed using the method of inductive thematic analysis. The study delineated three overarching themes: value-driven caregiving, comprehensive care and caregivers strengthened by faith and practice.

The Effect of Combination Prayer Therapy and Education on Pre-operative Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Anxiety.

Anxiety is a problem that most often occurs in the pre-operative coronary artery bypass graft surgery stage. The combination of prayer therapy with education is expected to be able to overcome anxiety. The combination of prayer and education therapy have been researched as a potential holistic intervention for reducing anxiety in coronary artery bypass graft surgery.

Effectiveness of psychoeducation intervention among women with gynecological cancer: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

Psychoeducation interventions have been suggested to improve sexual functioning and quality of life. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of the psychoeducation intervention on quality of life, sexual function, and psychological outcomes; and to identify the critical components of psychoeducation intervention for women with gynecological cancer. This study was a systematic review and meta-analysis.
