Cephalometric predictors of optimal facial soft-tissue profile in adult Asian subjects with Class II malocclusion treated via maxillary premolar extraction: A cross-sectional study.

Introduction: Class II malocclusion is most commonly treated using maxillary premolar extractions. The objective of this study was to predict cephalometric parameters associated with favorable facial soft-tissue profiles in adult Asian subjects with Class II malocclusion treated via maxillary premolar extractions.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed with 46 patients equally divided into favorable (FG) and unfavorable groups.

Background: Dental caries is one of the most common diseases around the world. Effect of Different Host-Related Factors on Postoperative Endodontic Pain in Necrotic Teeth Dressed with Interappointment Intracanal Medicaments: A Multicomparison Study.

Objectives:  The current study aimed to assess the impact of factors such as age, gender, and the tooth type on postoperative endodontic pain in necrotic teeth with symptomatic periapical periodontitis and radiolucency dressed randomly with either calcium hydroxide or propolis paste.

Materials And Methods:  The standard chemomechanical root canal preparation of 80 teeth was performed by the primary investigator. The intracanal medicaments were inserted by the secondary operator.

Objective: To understand early dental erosion induced by different beverages and the equipment for its detection.

Methods: The study was conducted at the University Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June to September 2014, and comprised single-rooted, unpolished teeth divided into six groups. Electron micrographs and other baseline readings for further analyses were taken before and after the exposure to different beverages.
