[A case of folie à trois].

We examined a case of a family of induced insanity (folie à trois) which is characterized by its delusion of jealousy, and reported about the establishment and disappearance process of the delusion. We examined the background of the fact that the family members shared the same delusion and the family dynamics. We concluded that induced insanity is an extended expression of family illness which appears in the process in which the family expresses its problematic theme and tries to cope with it.

[Self-expanding nitinol stents for treatment of tracheobronchial and esophageal stenosis caused by lung cancer].

A 57-year-old man was admitted because of dysphagia. Two year earlier, endoscopic ND-YAG laser treatment had been performed for squamous cell carcinoma of the tracheal carina. The esophagus was compressed and narrowed by invasion of lung cancer.

[A case of Sjögren's syndrome with malignant lymphoma].

A case of a 62-year-old female with Sjögren's syndrome (SjS) who developed a malignant lymphoma (ML) is reported. The patient who became blind at 32 years of age due to retinitis, began to complain of sicca syndrome (dry eye and dry mouth) and polyarthralgia at 40 years of age. A rapidly progressive subcutaneous mass was noted in the right anterior chest wall at 62 years of age.
