In this study, a Ni-based composite incorporating NiN and LaO supported on carbon nanotubes (Ni-La-NiN/CNT) was synthesized as an efficiency electrocatalyst towards the hydrogen evolution reaction in different electrolytes with the kinetics and energy consumption investigated in detail. The Ni-La-NiN/CNT exhibits overpotentials of 124 mV and 200 mV at the current density of 10 mA cm in 1.0 M KOH and alkaline seawater, respectively.

To design a new electrochemical horseradish peroxidase (HRP) biosensor with excellent analytical performance, black phosphorene (BP) nanosheets and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) nanocomposites were used as the modifier, with a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) as the substrate electrode. The SWCNTs-BP nanocomposite was synthesized by a simple in situ mixing procedure and modified on the CILE surface by the direct casting method. Then HRP was immobilized on the modified electrode with Nafion film.

To build a portable and sensitive method for monitoring the concentration of the flavonoid rutin, a new electrochemical sensing procedure was established. By using nitrogen-doped carbonized polymer dots (N-CPDs) anchoring few-layer black phosphorene (N-CPDs@FLBP) 0D-2D heterostructure and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) as the modifiers, a carbon ionic liquid electrode and a screen-printed electrode (SPE) were used as the substrate electrodes to construct a conventional electrochemical sensor and a portable wireless intelligent electrochemical sensor, respectively. The electrochemical behavior of rutin on the fabricated electrochemical sensors was explored in detail, with the analytical performances investigated.

This study proposed a moderated mediation model to investigate the association between COVID-19 victimization experience and mobile phone addiction, the mediating role of future anxiety, and the moderating role of mindfulness. This study employed the COVID-19 victimization experience scale, the mobile phone addiction scale, a future anxiety scale, and a mindfulness scale in a survey study among Chinese college students; 840 valid questionnaires were received. The reliability and confirmatory factor analysis results showed that all four scales had good reliability and validity.
