Background: Vascular embolism is a severe complication following hyaluronic acid (HA) filler injections, with hyaluronidase injection being the most effective treatment. The nasal region, including the nose and nasolabial fold, is the most common site of vascular embolism after facial HA injections. Currently, there is insufficient clinical evidence regarding the benefits of facial artery thrombolysis.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between perceived social support and Post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms and to explore the chain-mediated role of resilience and positive coping style, among medical staff in Hubei Province, China, during a public health emergency.

Methods: Convenience sampling was used to select medical staff from two general hospitals in Hubei Province in July 2022 for this study.

Background: Exertional heat stroke (EHS) is a critical condition arising from prolonged physical exertion in high temperatures that typically presents with normal hemoglobin levels. However, atypical presentations can also occur, leading to significant complications such as hemolytic anemia and organ dysfunction.

Case Summary: This case report describes a male patient who experienced moderate-to-severe anemia that was difficult to correct, with a confirmed diagnosis of microangiopathic hemolytic anemia accompanying multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, indicative of critical EHS.

Subthreshold depression should be worthy of attention, and the risk of subthreshold depression developing into depression increases if timely intervention is not available. However, there is limited research on interventions for subthreshold depression, especially for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients.
