Cancers still globally endanger millions of people yearly; the incidences/mortalities of colorectal cancers are particularly increasing. The natural nanoparticles (NPs) and marine biopolymers were anticipated to provide effectual safe significances for managing cancers. The transformation of curcumin to nano-curcumin (NCur) was conducted with gum Arabic.

Due to significant anatomical variations in medical images across different cases, medical image segmentation is a highly challenging task. Convolutional neural networks have shown faster and more accurate performance in medical image segmentation. However, existing networks for medical image segmentation mostly rely on independent training of the model using data samples and loss functions, lacking interactive training and feedback mechanisms.

Introduction: Recent studies have emphasized the intricate connection between exercise and cognition, focusing on specific cognitive processes and their correlations with specific motor skills. However, research on the impact of the qualitative aspects of movement on both short- and long-term cognitive performance is limited. In this quasi-experimental study, we investigate the impact of a 10-week fancy rope-skipping intervention on motor coordination and selective attention of 7-9-year-old children.

Deoxynivalenol (DON) is a common mycotoxin that contaminates cereals. Therefore, the development of sensitive and efficient detection methods for DON is essential to guarantee food safety and human health. In this study, an enzyme cascade amplification-based immunoassay (ECAIA) using a dual-functional alkaline phosphatase-linked single-chain fragment variable fusion tracer (scFv-ALP) and MnO nanosheets was established for DON detection.

Deoxynivalenol (DON) is a mycotoxin that widely distributes in various foods and seriously threatens food safety. To minimize the consumers' dietary exposure to DON, there is an urgent demand for developing rapid and sensitive detection methods for DON in food. In this study, a bifunctional single-chain variable fragment (scFv) linked alkaline phosphatase (ALP) fusion protein was developed for rapid and sensitive detection of deoxynivalenol (DON).

Mimotope-based immunoassays for mycotoxins eliminate the requirement for large amounts of mycotoxin standards for the chemosynthesis of artificial antigens. Herein, the nanobody-based magnetic beads were used to screen the mimotope (peptidomimetic) of ochratoxin A (OTA) from the phage-displayed peptide library. The interactions between nanobody and the most sensitive Y4 peptidomimetic were investigated by computer-assisted simulation and compared with those between nanobody and OTA.

The outbreak of coronavirus pandemic in late 2019 posted unprecedented social-economic challenges and disruptions to societies and individuals. The "new-normal" styles of living and working could intertwined with other determinants complicating the investigation of individual's financial vulnerability. The purpose of this paper is to conduct literature survey to review and consolidate the recent scattered literatures to identify some possible factors to be considered in the research related to financial vulnerability, including pandemic's impact of COVID-19 to different aspects of personal finance issues, pandemic-driven digitisation of the economy activities, changes in financial behaviour and addiction to digital technology.

Introduction: The multiple Exp-function scheme is employed for searching the multiple soliton solutions for the fractional generalized Calogero-Bogoyavlenskii-Schiff-Bogoyavlensky- Konopelchenko equation.
Objectives: Moreover, the Hirota bilinear technique is utilized to detecting the lump and interaction with two stripe soliton solutions.
Methods: The multiple Exp-function scheme and also, the semi-inverse variational principle will be used for the considered equation.

Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a common food contaminant with multiple toxicities and thus rapid and accurate detection of OTA is indispensable to minimize the threat of OTA to public health. Herein a novel enzyme cascade-amplified immunoassay (ECAIA) based on the mutated nanobody-alkaline phosphatase fusion (mNb-AP) and MnO nanosheets was established for detecting OTA in coffee. The detection principle is that the dual functional mNb-AP could specifically recognize OTA and dephosphorylate the ascorbic acid-2-phosphate (AAP) into ascorbic acid (AA), and the MnO nanosheets mimicking the oxidase could be reduced by AA into Mn and catalyze the 3,3',5,5'-tetramethyl benzidine into blue oxidized product for quantification.

Background: Fractional flow reserve derived from computed tomography (FFRCT) has been demonstrated to improve identification of lesion-specific ischemia significantly compared with coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA). It remains unclear whether the distribution of FFRCT values in obstructive stenosis between patients who received percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or not in routine clinical practice, as well as its association with clinical outcome. This study aims to reveal the distribution of FFRCT value in patients with single obstructive coronary artery stenosis and explored the independent factors for predicting major adverse cardiac events (MACE).

Given that there is no recent research on decomposition for global inequality, the aim of this study is to fill the gap in the literature by investigating global inequality with decomposition technique. The data of this study were compiled from the World Bank and decomposition by subgroups was conducted to evaluate the driving forces behind the evolution of inequality. Almost all the countries in the world were included in this study, and the study period spans from 2000 to 2017.

The aim of this study is to examine the evolution of inequality by focusing on the impacts of the economic structure. The technique of decomposition by income sources is employed to evaluate the contribution of the three major sectors, namely the agricultural, industrial, and service sectors to overall inequality. The data cover almost all the countries in the world from 2001 to 2017 for a total of 18 years.

Empirical studies suggest that globalization (FDI and international trade) has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 and related anti-pandemic measures imposed by governments worldwide. This paper investigates the impact of globalization on intra-provincial income inequality in China and the data is based on the county level. The findings reveal that FDI is negatively associated with intra-provincial inequality, intra-provincial inequality increases as the primary industry sector (agriculture) declines.

The performance of spray-coated polymer solar cells could be largely improved via morphologies and phase optimization by solvent engineering. However, there is still a lack of fundamental knowledge and know-how in controlling blend morphology by using various solvents. Here, the effect of adding low polar benzene and non-halogen benzene derivatives with triple symmetric molecular has been systematically investigated and discussed.

In this study, single-phase CsWO nanocrystals were synthesized by a novel mist chemical vapor deposition method. As prepared, CsWO nanocrystals exhibited a microsphere-like appearance constructed with angular crystal grains with an average size of about 30-40 nm. Characterization by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy indicated that CsWO nanocrystals consisted of mixed chemical valence states of tungsten ions W and W, inducing many free electrons, which could scatter and absorb near-infrared (NIR) photons by plasmon resonance.
