Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have recently emerged as a new class of RNAs, highly enriched in the brain and very stable within cells, exosomes and body fluids. In this study, we aimed to screen the exosome derived circRNAs in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and investigate whether these circRNAs could predict GBM as potential biomarkers. The exosome was extracted from the plasma of GBM patients and healthy volunteers and validated by immunoblotting.

Characterized by autophagy-associated protein disorders, autophagy participates in Taxol resistance in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). As an evolutionarily conserved serine/threonine protein kinase with complex signaling pathway, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) can regulate various cellular functions by phosphorylation of its downstream target proteins after activation. A large number of references have demonstrated that mTOR signaling pathway is related to autophagy and apoptosis.

Targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) using small interfering RNA (siVEGF) has shown great potential in inhibiting the growth, proliferation, and migration of tumors by reducing the proliferation of blood vessels. On the basis of bionic principles, a novel pH-responsive and virus mimetic shell-sheddable chitosan (CS) micelles (CMs) as siRNA delivery system was introduced in this study. The cyclo(Arg-Gly-Asp-d-Phe-Lys) (cRGD) modified poly(enthylene glycol) (PEG) was conjugated to the HA2 modified chitosan via a hydrazone linkage (cRGD-PEG-Hz-CS-HA2).

Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) are capable of both self-renewal and multilineage differentiation, which play a positive role in dentinogenesis. Studies have shown that tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) is involved in the differentiation of DPSCs under pro-inflammatory stimuli, but the mechanism of action of TNF-α is unknown. Rip-like interacting caspase-like apoptosis-regulatory protein kinase (RICK) is a biomarker of an early inflammatory response that plays a key role in modulating cell differentiation, but the role of RICK in DPSCs is still unclear.
