Methods: A convenient sampling method was used to enroll 188 patients with gynecologic malignancies in Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, and Haian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to April 2023. Patients were assessed using general information questionnaire, Reproductive Concerns After Cancer Scale (RCAC), Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory (FCRI) questionnaire, and Perceived Social Support-Family (PSS-FA) Scale.

Methods: This retrospective study included 429 patients (429 vessels) who underwent PCI and stent implantation after CCTA within 3 months. All patients underwent coronary stent implantation between January 2012 and December 2019.

There is no meta-analysis reporting the analgesic effect and safety of bupivacaine in patients undergoing hemorrhoidectomy. This meta-analysis provides quantitative evidence of the effect of bupivacaine in hemorrhoidectomy. Studies were searched from PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, and the Web of Science.

Background: Immunological liver injury (ILI) is a common liver disease associated with the microbiota-gut-liver axis. Jian Gan powder (JGP) exhibits both protective and therapeutic effects on hepatitis virus-induced ILI in the clinic. However, the underlying mechanisms remain elusive.

Establishment of animal models and behavioral studies for autism spectrum disorders.

In recent years, the incidence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has increased, but the etiology and pathogenesis remain unclear. In this narrative review, we review and systematically summarize the methods used to construct animal models to study ASD and the related behavioral studies based on recent literature. Utilization of various ASD animal models can complement research on the etiology, pathogenesis, and core behaviors of ASD, providing information and a foundation for further basic research and clinical treatment of ASD.

Effects of scalp acupuncture combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on post-stroke cognitive impairment at different time intervals.

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of scalp acupuncture combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) for post-stroke cognitive impairment at different time intervals.

Method: This retrospective cohort study divided patients into two groups according to the timing of the scalp acupuncture combined with rTMS intervention. Group A received scalp acupuncture combined with rTMS at 1 month post-stroke and routine basic treatment and cognitive function training at two months post-stroke.

Clinical effect of high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy combined with naloxone on severe respiratory failure in older adult patients: a randomized controlled trial.

Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy combined with naloxone on severe respiratory failure (SRF) in older adult patients.

Methods: We enrolled 96 older adult patients with SRF who were admitted to Hai'an People's Hospital between February 2019 and March 2022. The patients were divided into two groups: the control group (treated with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation combined with naloxone) and the observation group (treated with HFNC oxygen therapy combined with naloxone).

Efferocytosis of apoptotic neurons by macrophages is essential for the resolution of inflammation and for neuronal protection from secondary damage. It is known that alteration of the Sigma-1 receptor (Sig-1R) is involved in the pathological development of some neurological diseases, including ischemic stroke. The present study aimed to investigate whether and how Sig-1R regulates the phagocytic activity of macrophages/microglia and its significance in neuroprotection and neurological function in stroke.

The clinical effect of WeChat-based MUST education model on patients with chronic heart failure.

Objective: To explore the effect of WeChat-based MUST nursing intervention on self-care ability and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure.

Method: Convenient sampling was used to select CHF patients who received treatment in XX Hospital from January 1, 2020, to December 30, 2020, as the study subjects and was divided into the experimental group (n = 60) and the control group (n = 60) according to the random number table. The experimental group used the WeChat-based MUST nursing intervention, and the control group used the routine education and follow-up model.

Research progress on serological indices and their clinical application in rheumatoid arthritis.

Background: As a chronic systemic autoimmune disease of undetermined etiology, rheumatoid arthritis (RA) has a complex pathogenesis, which involves multiple proteins and cytokines. The 2010 ACR/EULAR classification criteria facilitate early diagnosis of RA with reduced specificity when compared to the 1987 ACR criteria. Hence, it is imperative to identify novel serological inflammatory indicators and targets, in order to explain the complex regulatory network of RA.
