[Diagnostic value of Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MRI radiomics models for dual-phenotype hepatocellular carcinoma].

To develop and validate clinical and radiomics models based on gadolinium ethoxybenzyl diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (Gd-EOB-DTPA)-enhanced MRI of dual-phenotype hepatocellular carcinoma (DPHCC) for preoperative differential diagnosis. Two hundred and fifty inpatients of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) confirmed by postoperative pathology, who underwent Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MRI were retrospectively included. A total of 172 inpatients (72 DPHCC and 100 non-DPHCC) were included in Institution 1 (the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University) as a training cohort (between January 2020 and July 2023) and 78 inpatients (44 DPHCC and 34 non-DPHCC) were included in Institution 2 (the Third People's Hospital of Nantong) as an external validation cohort(between January 2019 and July 2023).

However, depression, fatigue and sleep quality often coexisted as adverse symptoms in postpartum women and influenced infant development together. This study explored the maternal postpartum symptoms on infant growth.

This study aimed to assess the relationship between implantation and soluble HLA-G (sHLA-G) expression in cleavage embryo culture medium (ECM) in conjunction with early developmental kinetics determined by time-lapse imaging (TLI). A retrospective, single-center study was conducted involving 238 embryos from 165 patients who underwent Frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) using autologous oocytes, with either single or double embryo transfer. TLI morphokinetic parameters (t2, t3, t4, t5, t6, t7, t8, cc2, s2, cc3, s3) of embryos were analyzed, and sHLA-G levels in D3 ECM were measured using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).

Background: The role of autoimmune diseases (ADs) in temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) has been emphasized in observational studies. However, whether the causation exists is unclear, and controversy remains about which specific disorder is destructive in TMDs. This Mendelian randomization (MR) study aims to estimate the causal effect of common ADs on TMDs.

Prenatal endocrine-disrupting chemicals exposure and impact on offspring neurodevelopment: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Purpose: Considering that endocrine disruptors have certain effects on fetal growth, we conducted a systematic review of epidemiological literature to elucidate the correlation between exposure to endocrine-disrupting chemicals during pregnancy and the neurodevelopment of offspring.

Method: We systematically explored PubMed, Web of Science, and CINAHL databases from inception to April 4, 2023. References from pertinent studies were reviewed, and data regarding the link between maternal prenatal EDC exposure and offspring neurological development were compiled.

Background: The epigenetic-age acceleration (EAA) represents the difference between chronological age and epigenetic age, reflecting accelerated biological aging. Observational studies suggested that oral disorders may impact DNA methylation patterns and aging, but their causal relationship remains largely unexplored. Despite extensive research on this topic, its underlying mechanisms remain elusive, and effective therapeutic approaches are yet to be established. Recent studies have shown that epigenetics play an important role in regulating skeletal muscle atrophy, influencing the expression of numerous genes associated with this condition through the addition or removal of certain chemical modifications at the molecular level.

Effect of oral health education on improving knowledge, attitude, practice, and oral health status of patients with liver cancer: A quasi-experimental study.

Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of the PRECEDE-PROCEED model (PPM) in helping patients with liver cancer be aware of their knowledge, skills, and abilities in self-oral health behaviors and improve their oral health status.

Methods: This is a quasi-experimental study of 90 patients with liver cancer assigned to an oral health education or a control group. The intervention group was educated with the PRECEDE-PROCEED model.
