Background: Sexual harassment (SH) and Gender discrimination (GD) faced by medical students have been neglected areas of study in India. Only a few recent studies could be found, despite frequent media reports on SH and GD. This study aimed to assess the attitudes and perceptions of sexual harassment and gender discrimination and evaluate the forms of SH and GD experienced by them.

Status of functional neurosurgery in lower middle-income countries (LMICs): A multinational cross sectional survey based analysis of exposure, utilization and perceived barriers.

Introduction: Functional Neurosurgery (FNS) is a non-invasive and highly efficacious neurosurgical subspecialty but lower middle-income countries (LMICs) are disadvantaged in terms of access and availability of FNS. Through this study we have tried to assess the availability, exposure, utilization, and perceived barriers to five major FNS modalities including deep brain stimulation (DBS), vagal nerve stimulation (VNS), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), MRI-guided focused ultrasound (MRgfUS) and percutaneous rhizotomy in LMICs.

Methodology: We designed a survey using google forms while following the CHERRIES guidelines.

Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis.

Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis also known as Churg-Strauss syndrome or allergic granulomatosis and angiitis is an extremely rare systemic necrotizing vasculitis that affects small-to-medium-sized vessels. Here, we report a case of a 58-year-old man presenting with painful swelling of bilateral lower limbs with multiple well-defined erosions on lower legs and dorsum of the foot with a few of them showing brownish crusts and with slight watery discharge and a few with raw areas. The patient is a known case of bronchial asthma.

A pilot multicentre cluster randomised trial to compare the effect of trauma life support training programmes on patient and provider outcomes.

Introduction: Trauma accounts for nearly 10% of the global burden of disease. Several trauma life support programmes aim to improve trauma outcomes. There is no evidence from controlled trials to show the effect of these programmes on patient outcomes.

Background: Timely and effective iron supplementation may help reduce the incidence of postoperative anemia and its associated problems. In this study, we aim to assess the efficacy of intravenous ferric carboxy maltose (FCM) on improving hemoglobin(Hb) level posttotal knee arthroplasty (TKA).

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 263 patients who had undergone unilateral TKA with 157 patients in the study group (year 2019) and 106 in the control group (year 2016).

Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) has a wide range of pathophysiological effects. Curcumin, an active constituent of Curcuma longa (turmeric), has several properties, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral, anti-thrombotic, and anti-proliferative effects, which make it a promising candidate for the symptomatic treatment of COVID-19. We aimed to determine the effects of curcumin administered with piperine (to optimize absorption) on symptoms in patients with COVID-19 in a double-blind, randomized, controlled trial at a 30-bed dedicated COVID Health Center (DCHC) in Maharashtra, India.

Spermatocytic seminoma with rhabdomyoblastic differentiation: Case report and review of literature.

Spermatocytic seminoma (SCS) is an indolent germ cell tumor of the testis. It has an excellent prognosis and orchidectomy is generally curative. Very rarely, it can be complicated by a sarcomatous transformation which is associated with a very aggressive behavior and requires adjuvant therapy.

Psychogenic Belching: A Case Report.

Conversion symptoms usually appear with emotional conflicts of the patient. Belching's psychogenic aetiology is not unheard of and can be a manifestation of conversion disorder though rare. Current case is of a middle aged woman presenting with belching unresponsive to medical management.
