Introduction: Fractures in the upper thoracic spine pose technical challenges due to the transition from cervical to thoracic spine, often resulting in complete spinal cord injuries necessitating stabilization. Various posterior fixation techniques include Harrington rods, wired distraction rods, L-rods with sub-laminar wiring, and pedicle screw fixation. Luque pioneered sublaminar wiring (SLW), later enhanced by Dove's Hartshill system for superior biomechanical stability.

Objective: The abdominal aorta is a continuation of the thoracic aorta and gives off the coeliac trunk, superior mesenteric artery, and inferior mesenteric artery. The focus of our study is to evaluate variations in the origin level in the coeliac trunk, superior mesenteric artery, inferior mesenteric artery, and aortic bifurcation in the Indian population and compare with various demographics.

Methods: The study was retrospective and the local ethics committee approval was taken before starting it.

Anaesthetic management aims to maintain haemodynamic stability and reduce blood loss. This case series describes the application of the bundled approach as a multimodal blood loss prevention bundle (MBLPB).

Background: Total anatomic and reverse shoulder prostheses are designed to match the dimensions of the native bony anatomy. Chinese and Japanese bony dimensions of the shoulder have been found to be different from that of the Caucasian population. We hypothesized that the geometric dimensions of the humeral head and glenoid in the Indian population would also be different from that of the Caucasian population.

Drawstring dermatitis is a type of frictional dermatitis that can result from traditional tightly worn garments like "sari" and "salwaar-kameez". The resulting chronic friction at the waist can lead to lichenified grooves, post inflammatory depigmentation/leukoderma and aggravating pre-existing dermatoses like vitiligo and lichen planus.

Monotypic angiomyolipoma of the nasal cavity: An extremely rare cause of nasal mass with recurrent epistaxis.

Monotypic angiomyolipoma is usually found in the kidneys and is composed predominantly of epithelioid cells which show positivity for melanocyte and smooth muscle markers. It can pose a diagnostic challenge due to a range of differential diagnosis. We report the second case of monotypic angiomyolipoma of nasal cavity and first from India in a 54-year-old male who presented with a nasal polyp.

Spermatocytic seminoma with rhabdomyoblastic differentiation: Case report and review of literature.

Spermatocytic seminoma (SCS) is an indolent germ cell tumor of the testis. It has an excellent prognosis and orchidectomy is generally curative. Very rarely, it can be complicated by a sarcomatous transformation which is associated with a very aggressive behavior and requires adjuvant therapy.

Kikuchi-Fujimoto Disease (KFD) is a self-limiting necrotizing lymphadenitis that usually presents with fever and cervical lymphadenopathy. Recognition of this condition is crucial, because it can be mistaken for tuberculosis, lymphoma and connective tissue disorders. When present at an unusual location the diagnosis can be challenging.

Cytohistological Features of Spindle Cell Lipoma- A Case Report with Differential Diagnosis.

Spindle Cell Lipoma (SCL) is an uncommon benign tumour of adipose tissue that is usually superficially located in the neck, back and shoulder region. Although it has characteristic histological features it can pose a diagnostic dilemma on cytology. It presents with a mixture of spindle cells, adipocytes, collagen fibres and a myxoid matrix in varying proportions sometimes with mild pleomorphism.
