Introduction: The 2017 reform of the third cycle of medical studies (R3C) was accompanied by modifications in the formats and number of specialty diplomas. The aim of this study was to investigate the evolution of the choice of the internal medicine and clinical immunology specialty before and after 2017.
Methods: We used the median ranking and its evolution, as well as incoming and outgoing remorse rights, as markers of attractiveness.

Internal medicine is a medical specialty that is often poorly understood by the general public and sometimes misidentified. In an era of increasing subspecialization and high technicality, it is characterized by a comprehensive approach centered on clinical evaluation. Unlike what is observed in most developed countries, where systemic autoimmune diseases are managed by organ specialists based on their mode of presentation, French internists are at the forefront for diagnosing and managing these diseases.

Choosing a first-line treatment to optimize long-term outcomes is a major challenge for treating patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The development of several new molecules makes it critical to identify the relevant factors to consider so as to provide an optimal risk-benefit ratio when initiating a treatment in naïve patients with neovascular AMD. This paper proposes a consensus established with the Delphi method (which includes a gradation in a consensus based on an analysis of the convergence rate of answers) to provide criteria that guide the ophthalmologist's decision for treatment initiation and follow-up in neovascular AMD patients.

Optimizing treatment regimens for anti-angiogenic drugs is now a major issue in the management of patients with exudative AMD. The evolution of these approaches has led retinologists to favor so-called proactive administration regimens, such as Treat-and-Extend (T&E), which make it possible to anticipate recurrence and to plan intravitreal injections of anti-angiogenic drugs in advance. Nevertheless, a real need to standardize the application of this regimen has been identified.

Background: After ERCP failure or if ERCP is declined for preoperative biliary drainage before pancreaticoduodenectomy, endoscopic ultrasound-guided choledochoduodenostomy (EUS-CDS) with electrocautery-enhanced lumen-apposing stents (ECE-LAMS) might be needed. The aim of the present study was to assess the technical feasibility and short-term outcomes of pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) following endoscopic ultrasound-guided choledochoduodenostomy (EUS-CDS) with electrocautery-enhanced lumen-apposing stents (ECE-LAMS).
Methods: A retrospective study of all EUS-CDS procedures with ECE-LAMS followed by PD performed in France since the availability of the device in 2016.
